GusPW 0 Posted March 27, 2017 Apologies for not using search first but I'm away from home on a training course all week and don't have much spare time. My coolant appears to be leaking from the main water pump (VR6) and I'd like to get it sorted before driving the 160 miles home on Friday..... Anyone know anywhere reliable near Altrincham? swiftkid 1 Posted March 27, 2017 I think it's preference, I'd prefer not to have a metal propeller spinning around in the inside of my engine if a bearing goes but a lot of cases of overheating is caused by the blades breaking so metal resolves this. So I was just contemplating taking a chance at driving home friday and doing it myself on the weekend (other half would not be happy with this!)
