Zyclamvw-scirocco 10 Posted May 14, 2017 hi my rear spoiler doesn't raise up, off the switch I have a new mechanism to fit, but cant get the old one out, as even the manual cog that turns on the back of the mech is stiff and does not move the spoiler up, so I can't get to the screws under the spoiler, to be able to take it all off and change it has this happened to anyone here? or does anyone have any ideas? seanl82 23 Posted May 15, 2017 Try to remove the motor first, it may be that it's seized. You should be able to pull it up by hand then. If it's stuck in the guides, you my need to get a dremel or something to cut away the lip of the guides where the captive nuts are. Remove the mechanism, the pull the spoiler out.
