Radiator fan switches on between 72 and 75

Hi all .I'm new on here and could do with a bit of advice, finally got my vr6 and loving it !! . My radiator fan switches on between 72 and 75 degrees, both fans come on very fast for about 5 to 10 seconds .runs fine but I've realised that's not what it should be doing .any ideas would be great fully appreciate.
