odub 0 Posted August 6, 2018 I have for sale my CTN code gearbox which is in very good working order and has been filled with fresh gearbox oil approximately 2000 miles ago. This box was originally on a Passat diesel and is ideal for higher powered engines or if you're after a bit higher gearing for motorway driving. It has been cleaned and painted black which looks smart. VEEDUBBED 0 Posted August 7, 2018 Not without swapping over your Vr bellhousing jim.. Big job mate, you should swap over all your bearings from your 'box and even then sometimes the preload is a little out of spec. Major pain in the arse to remove the conical bearing races from inside the gearbox.. I've done a few over the years but it's def. not a walk in the park.
