Corrado automatic transmission

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I’m after a little advice as I’m having some problems. I’ve recently had a transmission fluid flush/replacement gasket and filter change on my automatic corrado. I had a leak and also noticed prior to the work after a bit of running the car would not drop from D into 3rd gear say if I was starting to go up a hill. What I mean by that is if I physically select 3 it would not change down. I was hoping it was my fluid was low which it was. But I’m still having the same problem and I’m 99% sure my transmission fluid is not low there is no sign of a leak and my levels are high when warm. The car is fine after initially running it and all works fine but after running for say 10 mins it’s like I can’t manually select the gear it’s staying in Drive. In terms of how it’s running in drive all is smooth and nice it goes through the gears fine no clunkyness. I just hope someone has had a similar problem and could offer some advice. Thanks Ray.

Have you had it scanned for errors? Perhaps you can post them up and we can go from there.

One of the issues can be the valve block sticking. It may just be you need to flush it again a few times.
