Early G60 Exhaust Hangers / Brackets

Hi all, I have had a early1991 G60 for about a year now.

Bought it off a guy that had fitted a brand new Jetex exhaust but it was the wrong one and has been bumping on the chassis.

Purchased the correct version from VW Heritage a few months back, my Mechanic has just tried to fit it and it appears that the previous owner also fitted the later hangers.

Any idea what the part number would be for the correct ones or who may sell them.

Not sure that's correct for the early 1991 as they changed I think in July 1991 till 1995.

Well if you look at the diagrams, the early type is above (5&6) and the later is below (16). I'm sure you can work it out from there.

Much appreciated thanks for you help, trying to put right everything the last owner did wrong, spent £2000 so far sorting out all his corner cutting.

Just got off the phone to VW Heritage and it appears they supplied the wrong exhaust and luckily they are happy to take it back.

So need to check the one I previously had fitted and confirm if it is in fact the correct one or not.

Will check and let you know how I get on. Really appreciate your help.

No probs, hope you get it sorted.

The original exhaust has been fitted with the correct early brackets and all seems fine
