Headlight Surrounds early / late?

Hi all,

With knowledge that the headlights slightly changed during production.

The early cars part number is 133 163 00.

The part number on my vehicle is 141 093 00.

Mine is a later car, 94 registered. Are these parts interchangeable? Early part to fit later headlights - they look identical?

This is the black plastic outer surround which clips on from the front of the headlight.

As far as I’m aware, the light  housings are the same, the lenses and surrounds changed for the late models

Hi,

it’s not the actual headlight body I refer to, it’s the black plastic trim that surrounds the front of the lense..

im not actually a newbie, I just couldn’t figure out how to post this in the exterior section.

that black plastic frame is not interchangeable.
