volksworld13 0 Posted August 10, 2023 I’ve just put 12 months mot on the car , it flew through with no advisories. I’m thinking I’ve judged the market wrong. Have I priced this too high? There are no other yellow g60 currently for sale that I’ve seen. I have listed it on car and classic and Facebook market place . Can anyone make any suggestions? I was contemplating selling on eBay, has anyone had much experience with this? I would really like the car to an enthusiast .
_Matt_ 32 Posted August 10, 2023 They can take months to sell. Your location in Cornwall will put many off as its a long way to travel just to look at a car. You could get the car to a specialist auction house to get it sold. I sold one through Classix for more than your asking price and it was gone in a week... but I think I got lucky as the buyer specifically wanted the colour.Price wise I think you are fine. There is not a lot of money about for toys but it will sell. Corrado prices are bucking the downward trend that even say the mk2 golf is experiencing and finally finding solid foundations in their value.Sent from my SM-G990B2 using Tapatalk
Dox 23 Posted August 10, 2023 Any car that has no interest is too expensive. Any car that has many viewing and no buyers has an issue with condition vs price. the buyer always dictates the selling price glws
volksworld13 0 Posted August 10, 2023 Thanks Matt, did you sell on car and classic auctions?
_Matt_ 32 Posted August 10, 2023 Thanks Matt, did you sell on car and classic auctions? I sold via Classix auction group. It sold before it entered an auction to a private buyer. [/url] https://m.facebook.com/classixauctiongroup I got c10.5k after commission (about 600ish) or something like that. I think the walk around video and sales patter helps motivate a buyer to part with their cash. Buyer also got an hour (or however long they wanted) with the car at their premises to inspect it without the owner (me). I think this stuff helps sell niche toys. Car and Classic I did consider but I have noticed on the various cars I have watched that there is either funny business happening with bids or something else as the cars do not sell for the final bid price and are re entered multiple times and sometimes end up on ebay with the same pics under the owners account. They also don't do the walk around videos. Sent from my SM-G990B2 using Tapatalk
