mariovr6 0 Posted August 18, 2004 hello while radin a old pvw mag i notice something, it might be old news i donno.. it said VW dealers in germany have noticed the major problems with the MAF's fitted to vw so are now offering a exchange as part of the 80k service and charging around £70 instead of around 200 it also said that VW dealers here are now offering the same?? im not sure if this is old news or true or if it only refers to a cars going throu a 80k service but i thought i put it up incase it wasnt known Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The 2.0i 8V engine used in those and the Beetle were forever lunching MAFs, but they cost £50 instead of £321 and they are exactly the same inside as an OBD2 VR6 MAF.
