Recaro Wiring Loom

Recommended Posts

Seeking abit of advise from the recaro experts among us. I've got my new Recaro SR's in on factory recaro subframes but i haven't got the looms. Are this available from the dealers? Were does the loom plug into? Is there a connector under the carpet or does the loom go to the fuse box?

TIA

Lee, if you're after just the electric adjustment make up your own loom. All you need is a live (fused of course) and an earth. If you remember the Recaros I had in my Mk1, I wired these up making up my own loom and it worked perfectly.

cheers guys.

Thought about making my own loom as a tempory measure (i'm currently using a battery charge to adjust them). I'd like vw loom once the money situation improves. Where do i connect the the loom too? Fuse box?
