Tires for a 16v

What was the original size of the tires on the 1.8 16v??? (1990)

The corrado club site says 195 55 15 but the spare in my car which I think is still original is a 185 55 15.

What is the best size to go for?

 

If 185 was the original then will the 195 put the speedo reading out by a lot?????
