I think that you are also meant to inform your insurance company if your license situation changes, ie you get points or a ban even before you come to renew and the insurance company have the right to pull your insurance from you. Check the fine print from your policy. Mark

I have my inlet pipe at the normal end but the outlet from the cooler to the car inlet goes under the boost return pipe, will post some pics over the weekend, i did use some toughened wired pipe as it passes near to the fan and didnt want it to move around to much, otherwise for bends i unfortunatley had to go to ripspeed for (look crap in blue). Hope this helps Thx Mark

Saw G6*1 A*P on the M25 on Friday at about 2pm clean standard looking Red 16v wasnt hanging around though went past me fast enough. Anyone on the forum?? Thx Mark

Ive go t M3 side skits on mine and they are flushed into the body which makes them a lot stiffer and less prone to coming off as willmason describes. If you have a big intercooler have you looked at the Seidl bumpers try this link http://www.seidl-tuning.de/katalog.htm If you want to look a bit different try one of these. Personally i think the whole Oettinger car looks cool but have to agree just get a debadged grille not the one shown on the pic. Thx Mark

Lee, How do you get on with having no rear fog is that ok on the MOT or are we using our local friendly garage?? Mark?

Agree with Kev on this you need to get Audioscape to do this, ive seen what happens if you get it wrong and its not pretty. If you dont know what speakers your getting then get them to cut the normal whole size (5 inch i think). You are better changing your speakers than f*****g about with the quality finish Mark

Use to work on car alarms and we had a 355 in for a tracker had to take the thing for a spin just to make sure we hadn't touched anything we were not meant to, thing went like like stink but a real b***h to drive fastest but not the most fun, Would say best car was dads Range Rover when new, you see that thing in your mirror and people do get out the way on the motorway. Dont do it, its the car as well as you that must have cover. Driving a car on your "any car third party" means the other car must also be insured, ive know some serious problems with people having accidents and the police/law take a very dim view of this, and normally class as it being an offence under "driving without insurance". hope it helps Mark

My corrado runs great with 18's on it is slightly heavy than with 17's but works great and handles nice on a fast run also im averaging 27-28 mpg with half a ton of sound in it as well. Mark

Had the same problem not long after buying mine. You need a new cable from VW or second hand, cost new is about 40 quid and comes with a different type end on it as vw knew this was a weakness in cable change boxes. You need to remove heat shield and a small amount of interior trim oh and exhaust from cat back (thats a bitch with rusty bolts). Then its fairly easy to do and changeover. Hope it helps. You have your permanent live wired to any ignition, have a test meter check if the live is on when you turn the car off and pull the keys out. thx Mark

Blackout(josh) Its connected to the alarm with a button under the wing mirror to pop a soleniod on the door. Its done on my mates mark 2 and works well except if the battery goes flat then its a real shit  dubbprince the bumper is the venom venus your quite right, the bigmouth has the front valance that sticks out a little more than mine. the eyebrow spoiler locates into the original holes in the slam and its the venom one with the grille all in one which might make it better otherwise ive just been lucky with it. Thx Mark

dubbprince, the door cards arer later style with earlier window switches and the door pulls  Because its earlier doors then the door pulls are from my mark 2 golf (chrome) what i really need is a set of mark 3 holders and door pulls if you know of anyone who has a spare set. i am getting mark 3 chrome handles and its very easy to change them they just twist on and off. :D BTW Your right the type R's are awesome sounds the real nuts at good loud volume. Thx Mark

Changed my rear bearings at the weekend and i would agree with all said here 2 things though. :D 1. Rear mark2/corrado calipers are common to fail and the caliper stick on with the handbrake off but having said that most now would be over 10 years old.so its not unusal for it to fail completely :( 2. when changing rears as others have said change the disc's as well as it is much easier, if you get a kit from Euro car parts then you need some lube, i think GSF kits have a small amount in the kit. Be carefull when winding the new assembley together as to not damage the spindle as ive seen some very bad bearing changes with then f****d spindles. Thx Mark
