41mpg? That's amazing! What is up with the current backbox? If stainless i may be interested in taking off your hands. Martin

I've fitted my new wheels and tyres and the noise is still there. Therefore there are no noisy tyres with this sale! The 2 matching tyres are budget but have loads of tread! Martin

As per above. I have a set of 4 Sebrings for sale. Good condition, 205/50's all round. Two are borderline legal and two are pretty meaty, and a bit noisy at low speeds. I don't have the centre caps. Wheels are in decent condition,no major curbing or lumps taken out either. One wheel looks to have a flat spot but it could have been the crap tyre on it when I jacked it up. Checked the HT leads just now, one of the electrodes was/is stuck in the distributor cap. This will most certainly contribute towards the hesitancy whilst accelerating?

As per above really, over the last few weeks i've noticed my corrado struggling when warm. Car feels really jerky whilst accelerating. I haven't done anything to the engine since I purchased the car apart from fitting a K&N panel filter about 3 weeks ago. Does anyone have a checklist of things that I can go over to try and troubleshoot the problem? Thanks

As per above, Last Wednesday I started a roadtrip from Oxford to Bristol, then on to Barnstaple on Thursday evening and back to Oxford on Sunday morning. Roughly 380 miles. This cost me £80 in fuel (or thereabouts). First problem - queing in rush hr traffic in Oxford the oil temp got up to 102deg (MFA reading) then it became very hesitant and I had to pull over and let it cool down as I wasn't getting anywhere fast. Second problem - motorway running at 82-86 deg - is this normal? My thermostat has gone and needs replacing - is this a contributing factor? I had a Golf Bluemotion in the summer and it would cruise at circa 100deg (from memory) Third problem - is a goosed thermnostat damaging my fuel economy? I usually cruise with a light foot between 70 & 80 mph - i've read around and established that the KR isn't the most economical engine but i'd have thought 35mpg was achievable? Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm new to the KR engine! Thanks!

As per above, Tyre not necessary but if a 195/50 then ideal! Local to Oxford please, I also have a mate in Bristol so could collect from there too. Thanks

As per above, my current backbox doesn't fit too great... Not looking to spend the earth but has anyone got a backbox spare that would add a little extra grunt? Ideally i'm looking for a single outlet. Thanks!

Bump! Open to offers... -
Cheers chaps - will give her a good run and see how she fares, since i've had her on the road and using more regularly she's getting better! Collected said wheels this morning - plans are to strip the tyres and paint the wheels silver/dark silver in the new year.

Great, will give it a go tomorrow. Thanks for that!

Can't for the life of me fathom out how this fits securely to the headlight unit! Removed the trim and glass (good excuse to give it a clean) and removed the old, broken adjuster. Fitted it to the reflector all OK, the problem i'm having is the adjuster part coming loose and therefore the reflector coming loose - it seems as if there's nothing holding it in place unless the adjuster screw is wound completely out. Weird! Anyway, here's the part below - is there anything missing at all?

Another photoless update. Coilovers collected last week and i've also bagged a set of BBS RX2's in 16" flavour :)
-
Ah yes. Sorry for any confusion. So are the inpro lights in need of adjusters?
