1991 Mk2 golf 16v .....Keep them standard [^]Apart from the bilstein sprints ,,280mm brakes ,s/s 4 branch ,full Remus exhaust,Wee engine mods going on ,that is engine is on my bench getting rebuilt and the head ,what can i say !! u know me mk4 rear brakes ,Goodridge hose kit ,,Mintex all round to stop you fast from 30mph ,, had 17's on her but i think she suits the Splits on her !!(NEW PICS JUST REBUILT CAR AND ENGINE !!) [:)] Thought i would never get her down on her wheels again !!let alone running .i have a 100 mile on her now [:)]only 500 to go [:(] golf with 17's on her before i rebuilt her .. Do you understand the 'hole' that the Schrick fills? Yes , Mike VR6 who is a member on here got a vr6 corrado last month ,,give me a drive in his ,, I took it up my test road and give it a bit of a death !! with mike in it :wink: must say this is the first vr6 corrado i have drove ,and it went like stink !! Sorry but there was no flat spots in that one ,,as for understanding engines thats what i do mate !!,,,,build, port, tune them :wink: Schrick make a good manfold but i told him his car does not need it £1100 could be better spent !! Tell me do u realy drive that car of yours on ???for thats how you get the most out of it !!

Must say your right ,,you can,t beat the sound of a vr6 ,,not to mention there a super robust engine !! :D As i have said !!! if i had a vr6 it would stay vr6 !!,,,it is the only corrado i would have !!! unless it had a 20v in it !! and i did not say every one wants a 20v engine :? This is only my opinion , every one to there own ....edd P,s Thanks mod for the edit :wink: looks better !!

Now as for what i said To sum it up the 2.9 vr6 as i have said is a very fast car ! it would be the one to have for me ,,i could not justifiy £1100 + a chip to get it to work !! if i had a non vr6 corrado i would put a 20v in it !! Guts of £1100 for a nice looking manifold !!!!! what planet are u on ???? ,,will it turn a vr6 2.9 which is a fast car !!! in to a space ship ?? for this is what i would have to do for £1100 !!!! no way !!! when people are going for 20v engines ,, also will u get £1100 more for the car when u go to sell it ?? dont thinks so ,,,bit old hat now vr6 engines ,,not the same demand for parts .. having said that it is the engine that made the corrado what is !!!! :D

build your own chargers ,,not alot to them ,,,i took mine apart and asked jabba to sell me the bits to do it ,,and they said no !!! as when u send away will u get yours back ??? ended up putting it together and sending it to jabba :( they wrote http://www.jabba.com every where :mad: :mad: :mad: you could SEE !!!! for what the parts cost now ,,and if you want it done right !!!! do it your self very little to it !!,,,, putting this aside ,,as for your cars charger go bang :cry: turbo it mate ,,will work cheaper ,,i would :flasingsmile:

it is an allan key ,goes down between sensor plate and meter head ,,,try halfords same tool for ford xr3i ,,,old audi,s ask for Co adjustment tool tell them i sent you :wink: :?: here to help edd

Sorry mate ,haven't been on , I would look at the throttle switch ,,check it is closing ,,with a meter,, ,,Also check vucuum lines to overrun valve are ok ,,Then check wiring to valve ,, let engine idle ,,, pull the plug of the valve,, volts should read 0 volts ,, bring her up to 4000 rpm ,,close throttle quickly to about 1300 rpm should read battery voltage ,,P,s valve can be found at air box ,,, hope this helps ,,,,edd P,s Just a thought ,,this may sound silly ,,but check your throttle cable is not to tight !!! :?: or fowling on somthing :oops:
