speaker cables are different. theres less speaker wires than there needs to be. i was told that with an aktiv systerm the speakers run off an amp????????????????????

hi guys ive just bought a new headunit for my US spec g60, because of the aktiv system i cant plug it in. is there an adapter or am i talking about rewiring the whole system, cheers

both my windows are one touch down and not up, thats fine with me but they dont seem to go all the way up, especially when i lock the doors and they go up themselves, they only stop about a couple of mm before the top so im not worried but does anyone have any ideas. by the way its a us spec g60 if that helps

i know, im gonna get it done but just wanted to keep them till the end of the week. im sure the insurance company will be on my case soon if i dont sort it, its just more fun having german plates. :lol: :lol:

i bought my g60 about a month ago and its still registered as a german car, ive got german plates untill i can be bothered to register it in the uk. you are supposed to register it within 2 weeks of purchase, but i wanted to keep them on for No Rice tomorrow night. ive passed numerous copers in the last month and none of them have bat an eyelid, thy must have just presumed im a german tourist.

Saw a dark green or blue (was in a cab on the better side of a few pints) 16 Valve on the oxford rd opposite the BBC in manchester last night bout 10, 10:30. i think you were at the cash point. licence plate started with LLZ i think .......

il definatley be up for that, ive got quite a few friends in guildford, and alot of them into the VW scene, il be at the june No rice meet, as we film it for http://www.0to60.tv. il park up next to the rest of the Cs :D :D ..... im sure i read somewhere else on the forum you guys organised a meet around the guildford area. is that a regular thing.

hi all.... just bought my G60 which has an immobiliser fitted.... it seems to be screwing up and i only have one phob so ive decided i might as well just get a new one. where is the best place to go to get a new one fitted. im in manchester for the next week and then im going to be down in Guildford, Surrey for the summer. any suggestions.

im after the side markers on the side of the bumper. i reckon some clear ones will set it off nicely as my first mod.... did the clear ones from the E28 just fit straight on?

as promised.... some pics of my new G60.... theres a few little dents and scratches and hideous stickers which i need to get rid of, and need to get it over on to british plates but other than that im really pleased.

i was laughing my head off when hammond was in the car and didnt know how to start it....... he actually though you steer with the gear stick,..... or as he called it a joystick.

yeah ive realised about the fuel but its well worth it... im actually in surrey at the moment, driving back to manchester tomorrow and i stay in fallowfield. look for a very loud blue left hooker on german plates.....

Picked up my G60 yesterday and did nothing but drive it all day long...... so much fun....... i woke up this morning and i was still smiling,..... cant wait to get back in it.....
