[ATTACH]84018[/ATTACH]Been on here a while so not exactly a newbie but the corrado hasn't been on the road for over two years now so I feel the excitement of being a first time owner again. The time has come to put a smile back on my face and get back on the road. I bought this car from a good friend of mine about 3 years ago as he has way to many projects on the go and the car was just rotting in a back yard. I used the car as my daily drive for a solid year and experienced very little trouble just heaps of fun. I took the car off the road as I had plans to do heaps of work but the time and money just didn't arrive as expected so it's just sat on my drive since. Any ways a new chapter and I've decided to get back on the road and do little bits at a time as and when I can. The car is mechanic orally sound but the body needs loads of work including bonnet front bumper with lights and respray and lots more. Has anyone tried or know if the mk4 front seats will fit the corrado. I've acquired the leather interior from a golf which I fancy having a go at fitting, problem is the rails are wider on the golf seats than the corrado. Having had a look I feel confident I could cut and weld the tracks on the seats to fit the corrado size but not sure how high the seats will sit in the car. Any help or knowledge plz.

Thanks I've had a look today but not sure what I was looking at to be honest so I'm just going to order a new part and see if that works.

Has anyone had a problem where the clutch pedal drops to the floor when not in use for a few days. The corrado has done this a couple of times and I've noticed a leak of some sort from the engine bay. A friend has mentioned that the brake and clutch fluide share the same reservoir it this true as it could be this that is leaking. 0,

How much are the bonnets and do they need the pins to hold them down

Is it a job that could be done by a amateur

Anyone have a rough idea of how much it costs to have the clutch release bearing done on a vr6

Is the fan switch a easy fix. The mileage is 152,000 not sure on work previously carried out as it came with no info.

Any help would be great. My vr6 has started to run at a temp of 110 it used to be 90. It doesn't take long to get up to that temp either. When I stop I can smell the heat from the engine bay if that makes sense. I've also started to hear a noise from the engine when accelerating like a tapping noise which gets faster as I accelerate. I know the clutch release bearing is going as that makes a tapping noise when the clutch isn't pressed in but I'm not sure if the noise is connected in any way. Any ideas

There some khan wheels and 18 inch came with the rado so giving them a refurb in gun metal Gray. Heard about the ride quality using 18 inch but gonna give them a try

Anyone had trouble with second gear on a vr6. I've just took my car out for its first run in my ownership which was all good until I gave it a little fettle and found that when I selected second and let clutch up it just coasted.the car will select second when engine is off and clutch pressed In and drive off when car is started in second but won't go from first to second or third to second. Any help would be great.
