It appears at some point long ago my VR has been given an incorrect rear caliper. One has a flexi hose which is female at both ends and the other appears to be male to female. I've had a look on Heritage and the female to female hose appears to be correct for the VR6 https://www.vwheritage.com/1h0611775-rear-brake-hose-for-corrado-vr6-models-abv-engine I have two of those which I was going to fit before I noticed the discrepancy. All this is leading to the question, should I replace the imposter for a correct caliper and fit my two correct new hoses or do I go for the MKIV caliper upgrade which I think is pretty straightforward? All suggestions, tips, part numbers and similar stories welcome. Thanks.

I doubt it's lost forever, it's on SORN and the MOT only lapsed last December.

Hi, if the Passat sunroof switch, surround and middle sun visor is still available and fully functional I'll take it please. I take it it's a direct swap with the Corrado part? I seem to have lost the interior lights on mine today so that's the main reason for needing it! If you can let me know I'd be grateful.

Does it have the standard five spoke Speedlines? I'd be interested if they are decent and straight after its little bump. Also a working sunroof motor would be handy! Thanks.

Thanks Robrado, has he done any welding on your C? I can't get any very decent pics but the car is driveable so I could arrange to go over to him if he had time to look it over on a lift (should give him a better idea of what's what too). Basically, the worst I can find is at the front of the offside sill. I was sanding back some rust and started to peel off the underseal and found a few small holes on the floor panel where it joins the sill. Yikes... I've had a good poke around with a screwdriver and the rot doesn't seem to have spread far. If he's willing to have a look at it then maybe we can arrange an inspection at his place. Thanks

Morning all, can anyone please recommend a welder / fabricator in the South West (S Devon to be precise) who they have used and would trust with their Corrado? I've got a list of things to do on the car and there isn't much point starting until I know the structure is fully sound. Any advice or a contact would be much appreciated, thanks.

I was given one of these as a pressie from a mate of mine when I had a 16V Mk2 years ago, which I never got cut. I hadn't considered getting it cut for the Corrado.
