Good evening all, I am having an issue in that the sticker where the engine number is located has been slowly rubbed away by the fuel lines. I have re-attached the fuel lines now but I can't read the engine number.... Where else would this be located, seems stupid that the only place an engine number is stored is on a sticker...? Ian

Much loved Diamond Black Corrado VR6 1996 158,000 for sale. Full black leather interior with functioning heated seats. I have only owned this car for 1.5 years and have decided to sell her in order to start another vehicle project. Previous owner had the car for over 12 years! Money has never been an object on this car and I do not want to sell her…… I always receive compliments on the car whenever driven as the paintwork really is incredible for a 20 year old car. It is kept in a garage and only used during dry conditions. It has covered approximately 10000 miles (Purchased with 148,000 now 158,000) during my ownership. Don’t let the mileage put you off as I have seen multiple VR6’s with close to 300K. As long as the chains and head have been done along with regular servicing they are bullet proof. Plus they are 20+ year old cars so mileage will be higher than a modern boring car. The paint work is 90% perfect only slight rust on the OS Sill the size of a 50P and expected usual stone chips. Underside is good with zero body rust, plus wax coating throughout to prevent future rust. The electrics are fully functional so the spoiler works automatically or via the button and the sun roof works in every direction. Last service was on 05/08/2016 (Oil and oil filter and plugs), so less than 500 miles ago. The car drives fantastic, especially accompanied by the VR6 sound track. This car has had many new parts fitted and only genuine items have been used where possible, documentation is good but previous owner misplaced a whole folder but I have the main work and my recent work: Recent Work: Recent alloy wheel face refurbishment on the 17” BBS RX’s Alloys 2 x Continental Contact 5 tyres – Front (600 miles ago) 2x Toyo T1R Rear Tyres (180 miles ago) Wheel bearings x 4 Rear top mounts x2 Brembo pads all round and new Brembo front disks (Less than 800 miles ago) Radiator main upper hose Hose between firewall and top of engine New VR6 black leather steering wheel New Reiger eye brow spoiler with badgeless grill + Professional spray SWG motorsport one piece scuttle cover Front CV boots Paint body work – Minor rust removal and respray of NS Sill and boot area at the base of the window (common rust spot) and scratch repair by rear quarter full respray. Replacement MAF and rewired plug (used) Replacement ISV (used) BMC Air Filter Exhaust clamp New full handbrake cable 2x drop links Blead brake system full (100 miles ago) New Coil pack and electrical connector plug Most definitely more but from memory that is sufficient….. Past Major History: Gear box rebuilt with new clutch, head Re-Skimmed (3 way valve), new timing chain, new Water pump, new tensioner, done 2.5 years ago. New alternator New starter motor New master and slave cylinder New CV joints inner and outer New ball joints New ignition leads Polly bushes all round Lowered on fully adjustable GAZ GHA Coilover Suspension LED rear light set (Silver body painted in black) New genuine plastic roof trim, New genuine number plate surround New genuine door rubbers, New genuine head light New genuine fogs (one now has a small crack) New genuine indicators Genuine full exhaust system (Amazing VR6 sound track) Genuine sun roof motor Genuine Calipers (front – Red will need a re-spray now) Genuine engine cover Cobra Cat 1 alarm system with certificate The list goes on but again that gives you a good picture of the car. As always there are a few bad points as expected on a 20 year old car: 1) Needs 2x Front top mounts 2) Driver side electric mirror does not function and did not work before I bought the car, has never caused me an issue so did not investigate the issue 3) Driver seat bolster as seen in the picture is worn with a 2P size hole. 4) Headliner is grubby but not sagging I have been as honest as possible and comparing this car to other VR6’s around I think the price is fair. Hello guys, I am trying to track down a member that used to use this forum. Username: 'Jamminvr6storm' He used to own a 1995 VR6 Storm Turbo. It is supposed to have produced a dyno run of 540BHP at 16psi. The reason I ask is because the car has now recently come up for sale and I wanted to speak with him about the cars history as believe he owned it in 2010 with 55k miles on the clock. Owner I believe was called Ben, he had 2 chargers on it and then a Garrett before selling. Any help would be amazing. Thanks, Ian.
