Hey all, looking for a 93+ Sunroof motor cover, color doesn't matter, don't need the switch, attachment points need to be solid, and willing to ship across the pond to the US. Anyone got anything lying around?:thumbleft:

Car is now fully operational, and on the road. WOO WOO
-
Got instrument lights back, albeit being on all the time the car is on, low beam is fixed, got back-up light switch to install tonight and new bulbs all around. We'll see whats up with the spoiler when I get to drive it again.
-
Getting my issues worked out an causing new ones in the process. Got the cluster working, gauges and all, sunroof and windows still work. Current problems: No interior instrument lights, turn signals on dash (lights themselves are working) Drivers side low beam not working, high works. Spoiler is reversed....goes DOWN at 45 and comes up when you first come to a stop.

Figured it out. Fuel injectors weren't plugged in. Normally, they go to Z1, mine do not, the plug they they are on is a single plug and fits into the 30-30b jumper, Z1 is a wider plug.
-
So in trying to track down various issues . Now I have a no start condition...I'm guessing fuel pump.. But every picture I see of the fuse box has 30 30b jumpered together. But I have one of these (not my picture) Is still supposed to be jumpered or is there something else that should be in there?

Have a new Relay 109 coming from GAP, mine is ticking, plugged in some of the single connectors last night, still no luck on the gauges or seatbelts. Just been too muggy to rangle myself in under the dash lately.
-
So no luck on the belts or the gauges with the new battery...car starts up a lot better now with it though :-) I must have missed something when I reconnected the fusebox, cause both items were working before...guess the seat will be coming out again and I'll be digging in under there again.

Man - asses. HA

This is specifically for the gauges. I have power to it, clock, odometer and lights are on. I've heard low voltage in the system will cause the gauges themselves to not register. I also know I have a bad battery in the car anyhow. The gauges themselves are fused on 16 which I know is good, the clock is on another fuse which I know is working since hte clock is. Also there are apparently some grounds in the engine bay to be checked. The seatbelts I'm not sure on just yet.
-
I'm hoping to blame a crappy battery.

Took her out for a test drive tonight to see if the spoiler would work, and run some fresh gas with some cleaner in it through the motor. Seabelts aren't working now, and the cluster lights up, but no gauge activity...DOH...and if it needed to be said...no spoiler :-)

I'll let you know but I think you use the whole Passat setup
-
Got the other fog put back together and curing now. Next up will be the headliner recover and the moonroof.
-
Yep. Black
-
Not bad..some wear and tear and creaks..but it'll get fixed over time
-
The Corrado will get a Mk4 shifter some coilovers and loving car to keep it maintained. There is a thought that there might be an errant metal pin in the block somewhere so maybe I'll go fish for that at some point...but it made it am hour and a half home of me romping on it without an issue.
-
I love my Passat...it will eventually go away in favor of a Ford Flex to tote the family in.
-
Just get her a solid runner keep it as a project to tinker with. I'm 32 w 3 kids....it doesn't get much more exciting than a project car :-)
