thats interesting, i fitted lowered avo's springs and b4 shocks to my old mans t3 and they work well in that application as fitted to lots of vans.but not on the corrado running gear. on my van i have HR cup kit and that works very well,and just fitted a HR cup kit to my mk3 i got both kits from thehttp://www.tuningstudio.de/index.php/XTCsid/sn3fvsb91nno9hbsuhbo99g7g0 good bit cheaper than i could find in this country and fast delivery.

thanks mate but a vr6 would be a waste for him.he's an oap and a stroke a few years ago has left him with not alot of feeling in his left hand. he's currently driving my mk4 cab 2.0 auto likes the size and easy of use but i think a corrado would be better.

easy to tell the type of box are there rods with a round green end cap or cables and a large square black end cap. i would have thought it's a cable change box that would be standard on a 20v. i thought vw did a rebuild kit for the tower as i have seen similar problems on the tdi's.

can you select 5gear at the gearbox end try it with the cables connected and off should point you in the right direction as to whats at fault.

the camber is fixed but that doesnt mean its correct,the beam is easy to bend by clipping a back wheel. the rear beam can be moved on the mounts, again first thing to do is alinement check.

thanks guys g60ing loving the tdi power have been talking to my old man about this as he now wants a corrado as well ive done a few tdi conversions on a couple of vans and ive got an afn and auto box in the corner of the workshop which will make a nice conversion for him" he is an oap now"

thanks fella. yeh it's a bit of fun to drive still a work in progress,got a few things to sort out,had it up to 150mph so far" on a private road" but more to come got to do some work on cooling and aero before i start uping the power. it's a remaped s4 motor with twin pwr coolers,and twin 3" exhaust about 340hp driving thru a porsche 996 box.
