I have not yet tested to see if my current aux pump works, i can see it dripping every few minutes i will test this when i replace the battery. If it is working i will check why it is dripping water, its possible the silicone pipes may not be flush. If it seems dead i will just replace. PCV.. when i did the delete on my rado surprisingly there wasn't much of a smell and after driving it daily for a sometime after i did not notice any oil drips below the filter. It was a temp thing however as mentioned i sold it before installing the catch can. The throttle body seems a little sticky and the pcv valve was covered in oil. I can of-course give everything a clean and reinstall but i quite fancied a catch can haha. Just wanted to confirm there would be no issues in doing so.

Thanks for your replies. I will keep the Aux water pump and replace with a new unit. Seems simple enough to do.

Picked up a golf vr6 recently, planning to do some restoration work and also sort out the engine bay. I wont go in to the car much as I know its a Rado forum however I need some advice on the engine. A few things I wanted clarification on, firstly the PCV valve, I deleted this on my rado and stuck a small filter on the end whilst i waited to do the catch can mod. I didn't get round to doing this as I ended up selling it. By deleted the PCV valve would there be any negative issues? I didn't notice any on my rado but it was short term. Also the wire mesh inside looked ok-ish does this have to be there. Next thing i have a slight drip from the After-Run Coolant Pump now I have seen a few posts on the net about deleting this, is this a good route to go down ? I was looking to replace it however if it's something that can be deleted without any adverse effects to the engine then I will just go ahead. Im aware of the purpose it serves. Anyone have experience with this?

Isotta steering wheel, handbrake handle and pedal

Thank u -
All 4 wheels are in good condition, the only areas that may need attention are the edges of the rim, not noticeable if you put tyres on in the normal manner, mine are stretched hence why you can see the outer edges. Apart from that they are in my opinion in good condition, paint looks good no flaking or chips are apparent on the surface of the wheels, they are gun mental grey in color. No cracks in the alloys, no leaking of air or buckle issues. I have covered over 500 miles (one trip) less than a month ago in the car it was perfectly smooth. All wheels currently have some type of hubcentric adaptors to allow them to be fitted on the car (currently on my MK3 Golf, 5x100 to 5x130) so please check if they will fit on your car. I am confident they will fit the Corrado models. (5x100) I will be giving the adaptors with the wheels including bolts, the centre caps are all present bearing the Porsche logo. These adaptors on there own fetch £100 thats not including bolts, however I'm a reasonable guy. Not sure what I want in terms of cash, ideally looking to swap them for some deep dish style wheels 16-17" preferred 5x100, I am happy to leave the tyres on the wheels as long as yours also have tyres, mine have decent amount of thread left. I am aware they can fetch between £300-£400 on there own (quick check on Ebay etc) please bare in mind I am giving a complete set up with everything included so you can put them on your car so no silly offers. If your wheels are worth less I am not to bothered as long as I like them and they are in good condition etc. PICS CAN BE SEEN VIA LINK BELOW http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/5727882/PORSCHE_D90_wheels_alloys_VW_Audi_5x100/

Pics of steering wheel? -
Performance whise they are great, iv not owned a non vr6 rado or golf so in comparison to them im not sure.. onestly its tough im a firm supporter of the vr6 engine, the sound, performance etc ... The mk4 r32 feels more nippy which ofcourse it is but the way it delivers power etc is quite different to the old vr6, its not a bad car it will satisfy u but don't expect it to be bang on like a vr6.. Another thing pal if your budget is around 7k y dont u consider a mk5 r32?? Much more modern.. More space etc.. Then again a mk4 is special :)

I will defo check these tmrw and get back to ya.. They are gun metal grey at the moment and overall good con.. Honestly i dont know how much for cash, they will come complete with all bolts and also the adapters.. Im having trouble uploaded pics any suggestions ?

I have a set of Porsche D90 16" wheels on my Vr they are in good condition just the outer lips could do with minor refurb, currently they are on my golf mk3 vr6 with the relevent adapter kit installed and bolts.. I was going to get these refurbed and painted in hyper silver but I've decided i want to get rid, ideally im after a swap for some split rims/deep dish style like the bbs rs/ borbets u get the drift.. Tyres are all good although they can be removed, not sure what i want cash wise hence why im after a swap.. Even if i was to sell i have no wheels to put on the car lol... If anyone is interested plz get in touch they are a cracking set of wheels just need a change

I will cover the basics, its not cheap on insurance i was 22/23 when i owned my first one, fuel wise they will suck. Much More than a rado (iv also had a rado vr6) driving like a lunatic gave me approximately 8mpg loll... Never really noticed how it was driving casually... Then again the sound and performance justified the fuel costs lol. The more i drove it the more i enjoyed it it was an absolute plesure to drive, as its a 4x4 it gives u that extra edge grips the road etc etc... Iv had both as 2 doors so not very practical if you have family/kids.. Size wise its very practical parking is easy etc etc.. If you get one with the full leather seats then bare in mind they are not the most comfortable seats.. They are also prone to wear/rip on the bolsters.. There not to bad maintenance wise meaning body parts can be used of a standard mk4 if you have rust issues or maybe have a bump.. Most bits are interchangeable but when it comes to servicing it can be pricey depending how deep ur pockets are... First 1 i owned was standard 3 door in black i never really had any issues except for coil packs... Thankfully VW had a recall for them and this was taken care of free of charge... The 2nd one i owned was the more desirable blue again 3 door... I spent decent amount of money on her, upgraded air intake, decat, miltek exhausts and a stage 1 remap and all i will say is HOLY SH** lol ... Sounded absolutely insane on the throttle and felt much much more crisp... Anyhow overall i would highly recommend one iv had the privilege of using a friends mk5 r32 and honestly the mk4 is more special.. Its a lovely car and worth having as long as you know it will need attention and ofcourse money lol.. Anything else plz ask

CORRADO VR6 ORIGINAL CONDITION Truly unique, unmolested Corrado VR6 in its original condition, full extensive S/H. Engine is creamy smooth and pulls effortlessly. A proper performance car absolutely amazing to drive. No funny noises runs sweet and pulls very well. Throttle response is perfect, instant acceleration and no hesitation what so ever * New MAF fitted (01/12/14) paperwork to hand including the old MAF * ISV removed and cleaned inc throttle body * Breaks Over-hauled including rear callipers, new pads, disks etc, the break master cylinder has benefited with new seals * Engine rebuilt back in 2007, was kept in dry storage * New exhaust system fitted including silencers, this was due to the original one suffering from rust, its not a boy racer type and not loud, has a life time warranty, will need transferring over to the new owner * Tyres have plenty of thread the original alloys have been restored back to their natural beauty no scuffs/curbing spare wheel along with tools are in the boot * Oil recently changed, along with oil pressure sensors, these are known to leak oil so I decided to get this changed, not a expensive job. (I have pictures) Bodywork in very good condition especially for its age, no holes, rust or hugh dents, however the paint could do with a good buff as it is showing some signs of age this is the only bad point I have noticed with the car. Front grill, badge and front lip spoiler where dull so I had these restored in a nice matt finish. I have also got the windows professionally tinted all round which includes a 3 year guarantee Interior is mint, standard cloth interior with no rips, no excessive wear to the steering wheel or gear shifter, E/Windows E/Mirrors work as they should, sunroof started playing up so I have disconnected it from the switch I have gone through some effort and re-clothed the miserable grey head lining with a expensive black velvet material, I have also done the sun visors & sunroof switch panel in triple velvet (faux) to break things up, it looks and feels amazing, I wanted to add a unique feature to the inside, the grey switches have been stripped and painted black to finish of the look. New LED white bulbs have replaced the yellow ones including the passenger sun visor. Again I have pictures to highlight the work as it progressed. Heating system works fine all heating stages work as they should, old heater matrix was replaced with a new one, interior lights all work & there are no missing bits. The switch for the spoiler is also working and is a very cool feature on the Corrado. CD player fitted but is not the original one & does not come with the car. The original first aid kit is also included and is located in the rear passenger armrest, very rare to have this This lovely Corrado benefits from having a Thatcham 1 certified security alarm & immobiliser with 2 sets of fobs and 1 key (panic button on fob) GPS tracking device included but needs fitting, this is very beneficial for insurance purposes. Currently taxed but due to the recent changes it comes with no tax, MOT'D til January 2015, private plate not included Over all this Corrado is superb it needs some minor tlc, Im sure the new owner can bring it back to its glory by spending a day or two polishing and buffing the bodywork, the best part is the extensive service history it dates back to when the car was first purchased origanal receipt available, there are piles of paperwork from old mot's, tax disks and DVLA related paperwork. All the above mentioned work has got paperwork to back it up, genuine 130.000 miles (in daily use) HPI clear, I have a HPI report from 22/08/2014 but please do your own checks I am a keen VW enthusiast I absolutely love my car and take great care of it, Im in 2 minds if I want to sell however if asking price is paid I would consider it otherwise I will keep on to it PICS WILL BE ADDED SOON.
