Last night I was woken rather rudely by my VR's alarm, not just once but three times. Bit odd I thought so I just disarmed it using the Keyfob. Got in the car this morning and I noticed that the warning lights where on. Flashing like they do when you turn the key to the first position. Only there was no key in the ignition. Put the key in and she started fine. Drove off only to notice that the hand break light was on, but faded. This would go off if I pressed the foot brake. Arrived a work, turned the engine off and removed the key. Guess what, warning lights flashing again. My initial thoughts are water somewhere but not really sure where to start looking. Has anyone else had similar? Any ideas where I should start my search? Thanks Mark.

Any chance on putting my name down for a 3-relay loom?

just been catching up on the news on these and I have no probs sending you the money up front... Like andy has said on a few occasions that he wont be making much money on these, I have no probs adding an extra £5 or so on the to the cost. After all he is doing most of us a favour by making these in his own time...

hope its not too late to be put me down for one of the "Plug-n-Play" variants?....

yeah that was me. would have kept up if it was for that car turning in to the cattery. one thing. I WANT a supercharger lol... AA came to look at the car. he thinks its the thermostat housing or the seal. Said to get it pressure tested just to be on the safe side incase its more seroius - ie gasget. suggested M & K. used them on my Golf Gti Mk2 did a good job too. There a guy from corkills working there- so could be worth a visit.

Got to my car a lunch time only to find a puddle of water under the car.. Only thing that I can see is a leak from where the rad hose connects to the front of the engine block. Cannot see for sure where it is comming from. What is this called?? can it be replaced?? and finally could this be anything more serious?? will take a picture and upload it later..

yeah used them before. Got a tyre from all round tyres yesterday, wasnt driving the C but they reconised me from last time - about 12 months ago. they was like - you have the silver corrado... nice when that happens :)

Im getting the brake lines changed and the caliper swapped so fluids will be done then. As for VAG price - not sure but from the expression of the sales guy there not cheap. then next on the list is full wheel alignment - coilies should have settled-ish by now. heard any good / bad reports from panelcraft??

Yeah have a VR. just had new brembo disks and padget pads fitted hence how Ive noticed the caliper being sticky/seized. Wheel gets v hot. Booked in to ray motors next friday to get the work done. would have a go myself but dont have the time or brave enough  What sort of price you looking for? (just phoned gsf, they dont have calipers for the VR Grr..)

is it best to get them both done?

My drivers side caliper (front) has seized. Should I go for VW caliper or would the calipers from gsf be OK? :?:

touch wood, all is OK. not had it on the road much since its been back together. recently had brakes an suspension done. (silverline-x coilovers) and found I have a sticky caliper. might have to replace it. grrrr.... but other than that the new coilovers have put a bigger smile on my face... just need to adjust the height to avoid the "many" speed bumps....

these are the limited edition ones, they are normally all silver. I like them, but.. have reservations about them looking right on the car.
