hello can someone please tell me how to take off the radiator on a corrado vr6..... does the bumper ave to come off??? looks like a leak coming from around the water pump area

i dont blame ya its been pissin it down!!! i was gonna spray mine this week but compressor went pop!!

my vr6 has the same problem it comes on at times then turn car off then on again n the light dont come back on put it on the computer and was told its the light senor under the brake pedal? not changed it yet but been told its easy fix n its about £8

cheers im still kinda lost though ive fitted bumpers to other cars but most came with built in bolts i didnt get any fitting kit with it just the shell and some mastik glue thing forgot to mention mine is rs4 not rs2

hello i got a rs bumper what a havent fitted yet its just the shell with no bolts and NO mouldings fitted inside IS THIS NORMAL?? am i going to have to stick the fitting bits on?? also is it a good idea to fit other bumper on like the rs one as ive been told the bumper holds the front together and shouldnt be driven without?

hi about a month ago my ecu last its memory n the car couldnt idle (as some already know!! cheers) got the car tuned by a muppet who told me engine was mash up?? turned out he left ht lead 5 off.... anyway i took all the spark plugs off n they all seemed matt black... so i cleaned them all while waiting for my new plugs to come.. just changed all the plugs today and PLUG 1,2,3,4,5 ALL are what i think in good condition dry light black/grey with a bit of rusty brown colour... but spark plug number 6 is dry matt black all over n smells strong of fuel whats this mean??

o maybe im wrong i thought vat can be charged from the eu, i know they dont charge the customs of 8% and then ontop the vat as they do from outside the eu but i thought they did charge VAT.. if that is the case then i think i would be able to get them for less then the 160 my cousin is bringing me 2 sets of corrado clear lights, n he can send me more if anyone wonted...

if your interested i can get the fk ones for £160 delivered from the uk... either styles..... you gotta remeber the VAT on top of the price when getting them from abroud

ok cant find the damn leak the oil is very clear clean ends up on the gearbox end most of the engine is clean n oil free excect the lower gearbox end n it ends up dripping from that metal vw badge below..... from above its still all dry n clean except there is alot of oil sitting on the right side of the top of da gearbox.... there is a slight leak coming from the thick pipe on da right hand side.. is this da oil cooler?? it feels like there is also oil coming from that pipe?? is that possible on a vr6??? HELP

still aint managed to work it out.. put summin under it to catch the oil its yellowy white dont smell much abit fishy.. if i look under the car most of the oil appears to end up on the block that got the vw logo on it n just above it

nah i got some of that sent from cyprus.... the villagers left da pips in!!! its no good

ok im confused brake oil seems full n it dont hold alot so if it was that im sure it would ave gone down by now? engine oil is still very full n it looks too thin to be that? oil looks like water its so thin n clean doea this say its gotta be da gearbox? i aint got the tool to check the gear box, is that funny socket summin i can get from halfords or do i have to get stuck in traffic going to VW ?? europarts n gsf are near me will they sell da bit to check da gearbox oil???

ok ive looked at it know, well the book... i dont think there is any brake fluid missing though it seems full?? is this the same oil as the slave cyl??

yeah it looks like there is some from the upper end.... i dont even know what the slave cylinder IS?? or where? all the oils look full except gearbox oil wht i aint got da tool to look at

ok ummm so what about 5/40 is this too thin??? its says its ok in the book?

hello ok here the prob ive noticed a little leak, drops on the floor when parked. its only small drops of oil i looked under the car and you can always see a drip about to fall of the sump, i cleaned it buy hand da other day n it looks like it coming from above the sump at the bulkhead end gearbox side?? the car aint losing ANY engine oil... yesterday i parked then looked under it and THERE WAS A LEAK ABOUT 5 DROPS ON DA FLOOR BUT THE OIL WAS CLEAR ALMOST WHITE AND VERY VERY THIN AND VERY CLEAN TOO... ALMOST LIKE WATER BUT IT WAS OIL... IS GEARBOX OIL ALMOST WHITE? AND VERY THIN? I COULDNT SMELL NOTHING FROM IT....LOOKED FOR THAT PEANUT SMELL BUT COULDNT TELL?? ANYWAYS WHATS IT SOUND LIKE?? ICE GREY VIOLETS VR6 CORRADO!!!! tell the tuning plum who tunned it and told me my engine was miss firing that he's let da ht lead off......

called up gsf asked the price for da silver oil told me £10 plus vat NOT BAD!! also heard i should only use propa vw oil filter?? is this very vital??

is every1 talking about SHELL like the petrol stations? like in the yellow bottle?? ill use da silva stuff i think, gotta do it twice to n hope that tappet noise goes away!! MAYBE VW AVE GOT A DEAL WITH SHELL???? YOU GIVE US OIL WE GIVE CARS THAT EAT ALOT OF GAS??

cheers for all that guys!! i looked at the last vw service n they used that shell stuff...... might try the silver stuff though..... any1 ever used ZX1 in there engine with the oil?? i dont know if its any good for my corrado vr6 might even be bad for it? but i put it in my old golf mk3 gti n 6 months later i took it for its MOT it past everything sweet even emmisions and then theguy looked at the dip stick THE CAR WAS BONE DRY not drop of oil...... donno if its any good for my vr6 but i recon thats what kept my gti from working?

HELLO PEEPS whats the best engine oil for a VR6 ????? whats the best brand and vis???? is comma any good?? i will need to change the oil then im gonna do it again in 2 weeks..

o ok wasnt gonna put oil in there it just looked abit strange to me n came off abit to easy cheers mate
