Ok - bit of a styange question and im sure some will say its down to personal choice but just wanted some advice. I am upgrading my brakes next week to the MK4 back and Mk3s (288)Front - think I will paint the callipers but cant decide on what colour will look right Mine is a Blackberry VR6 with original speedlines Colours I have thought of Silver (subtle) Black Gold (maybe chavy) Blackberry to match the car There the colours I think match the cars colour? I don't know an awful lot, but like yourself am on a steep learning curve and enjoying every minute of it! Yes she has been pretty well looked after I am now custodian and am gonna try and do the same! I'm even having my garage extended so I can get her in - not cheap this Corrado owning!!! - but based on my cheesy smile on my Sunday drive - worth it!

Think it is also called de-ionised

Demineralised and yes you can get from any motor factor - I think Tesco do it in their car section too

When I got mine a couple of months ago I swore I was going to keep it standard but having the brakes all done at the end of the month and will be lowering mine slightly too - been watching all the comments on suspension and the Blistein B12s sound good - 25 - 30mm off the height but sound like it retains a level of comfort too - if I carry on like this I will be up at Stealth this time next year having a turbo fitted Lol! The cars are addictive, as I think is he idea of improving them! Love mine so much puts a smile of my face everytime I drive it!

Is it best done when it's warmer.... Just concerned that plastic gets brittle when cold.

Thanks Sean... I will do so.... Very carefully

Hi - OK don't want to break anything...... so how do I get to the roof aerial? Had a quick look and there is a strip of plastic trim - how is this held on and how do I get it off so I can get to the headlining to pull down to get to the aerial? - do the side pieces have to come off first? Are there some hidden screws - any photos of this being done as im sure I don't just pull it! Lol! Also - its too cold to be outside - roll on spring! Thanks

http://www.amcarparts.co.uk/part/gear-linkage-rods/volkswagen/Corrado/1996/Manual-3-door-Coupe/2.9-VR6 Is that what your looking for? if not maybe worth asking them if they have it?

What you having done to the head - just wondering whats inc for £1500?

Instead of Rain-X try this - http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/cgi-bin/ecom.cgi?Command=ShowProduct&db_pid=37 This had been applied to my car and I like it (previous owner had applied it.) I wouldn't say that you don't need wipers, but it's noticeable how easily rain comes off the windows. Plus with all this salty spray about, I don't seem to be using screen wash anywhere near as much as usual. So is this as good as rainex? and is it easy to apply - I know some products are a mare to shine off once applied?

Im certainly using V Power the majority of the time or if not near shell use another similar but on the whole mainly v power - as you say though for £5 worth bunging some in - cant do any harm.... can it?
-
So Redex - is here a sarcastic edge to the comments above or does it actually work? Lol!
-
Someone else on here mentioned it would be on I just checked with them on Facebook when it would show! Looking forward to it.

Looks like the Corrado will feature on the 5th March on fifth gear and will be on their new channel ... History. That is if the reply I just got on their Facebook page is accurate. So put that in your diaries
