  1. I'll keep looking on the forums. Excellent car by the way, saw it at stealth R/R day. Can you get much more hp out of it, anything planned.
  2. Already been on a couple, S2K and Revolution. Got the impression you couldn't get big gains unless you turbo or supercharge similiar to the corrado. Already getting 240bhp out of a 2 litre n/a, but if you know any different intresting. Not very culed up to be honest, thought the CTR was just a detuned version of the S2000 engine. My tuning knowledge amount to having a de-cat fitted on a subaru once.
  3. Afraid im taking the safe option, have put a deposit on an S2000. Was temped by the TVR, but seem to be a bit of a money pit. Thats one of the reasons for replacing the corrado. Although after having the geometary set up at stealth yesterday, it feels like a different car. The honda's not as hardcore as the TVR, But the V-TEC engine is special. Last rear wheel car i had was a 944 with 160 bhp, so it's going to be intresting. Got the honda warranty as well and servicing is reasonable. TVR will have to wait till i have the lottery win.
  4. Bit far away mate, but whats age, mileage & price.
  5. Considered the S3 because it's the only alternative in the VW/Audi group, plus it can be remaped easily. But after viewing one yesterday it's put me off a bit, didn't look anything special. Like the look of the VX220, but agree with chrishill to a degree about vauxhall. Turbo out of my budget im afraid. Think it's going to be between the S2000 or TVR. Head says S2000, Heart says TVR. Honda is the safe bet, like the apperance, engine and build quality. Know the interiors are bland, but not so bad if you can get red leather. Problem is if i test drive a TVR wont be able to resist, just the noise alone will do it. Interior and body look brilliant, but friend had one when new and had a lot of trouble with it then. Try to get a test drive in both this week, thanks for the advice.
  6. Looking to replace the corrado. Have a budget of 14k, have a shortlist im looking at :- Audi S3 VX220 S2000 Chimaera Car is to be used at weekend mostly covering 5000miles a year. Looked around for something similar to the corrado(V6 coupe). But just doesn't seem to be anything. Anyone got any experience of the above or advice

Thanks for the comments, but close up it got the stone chips and broken fog's like everyone else. Chrishill is correct with the style and size of alloy, the ET is 27. Have added some pictures with koni and H&R's fitted, but have a problem. The driver's side rear arch is rubbing the tyre, the passenger side is fine. Before having the work carried out i took some measurements for comparison. I found that the same corner was 15mm lower before, and after fitment 20mm. Therefore the problem existed already. The top mounts and bump stops were replaced also. Anyone shed any light on this problem, has some thing else worn over time. Is it worse because it's the driver's side, Any help would be grateful. Thanks for the comments, but close up it got the stone chips and broken fog's like everyone else. 8x17 RH AG CUP'S

Wheels arrived yesterday, dont believe it ordered et32. Got et27, from what i under stand they'll fit on the back. tryed one on the front thinking if it's no good i can keep it and put it on the back and send the others back. Just fitted one to the drivers front, but not driven it. Doesn't appear to be any clearance problems as i am running standard struts and springs, but will fit the other front and take it for a spin to try it. Must admit it sticks out the arch a bit, What do you think? Have waited a month for these and don't want to have to swap them if i can help it. Will also try one on the back as i dont think it will stick out as much as the front, which may look strange unless i put spacer on the back. Sorry it so long winded any help would be greatful.

    Will it go?

Will 8x17 et27 go on the front of a vr6 with standard set up. Understand they'll go on the back no problem, but not sure about the front. If not what are the problems and solutions.

Had the grider on the caliper today, followed by a coat of hammerite. Wheels left germany on the 19th so calling tomorrow to see about delivery. Did you guys use the standard wheel nuts and have you treated the alloys with anything. Read some where about waxing them.

Look awesome neil, can't wait for mine to arrive. Better get filing, next problem is im running standard shocks and springs. Will the wheels make the ride height look better or worse, don't really want to be forking out another £700 so soon.

Neil, take it your getting 205 tyres. Spoke to style/d they suggested 215, when do you get them, would like to know how you get on with the smaller ET on the back. Will it affect the handling.

Mind if i ask where you ordered them from and how much? Also what make of tyres are with them and have you gone for ET32 front and back.

Will these fit stright on a vr6 with a standard set up. does the ET have to be 35 and the tyres 205/40/17.
