*** Help with Spoiler only working manually and not at speed ***
Tabbi replied to Tabbi's topic in Engine Bay
I removed the cover and checked the wires going to the switch. All tight and plugged in. There were 3 wires to the switch. Also checked the module, has 4 wires going to it....i think. Green, brown, black and blue/white. I followed these along and it disappears into the main loom somewhere. -
I want to check what i can myself first. If that doesnt fix it then i will take it to a Electrician so that he can put me over a barrel.... ;)

Thanks sankysvr6. I will try removing the stereo to see if that works. In regards to the speed sensor, if there was an issue would that have an effect on the speedo which works fine...?? -

Ive just read a load of stuff pointing to speed sensors, dash clocks, control modules, wiring and even the spoiler itself. I know the prev owner replaced the stalk and clocks but without luck. I did pull the fuse box yesterday and noticed a blue/white wire with a white plug on the end disconnected, but couldnt find where it would go.... Will try pull stereo and see what happens. -

Exactly. Prob easier to fly straight to Aberdeen. Any other Corrados you know of for sale?
-
Exactly. The only problem is, he is in Aberdeen so its a fair way to go but the car sounds as though its been well maintained. No worries about getting back.
-
Mechanically solid! Not too bothered about the body provided no welding. I have PM'd Graham, he is away for the weekend but will contact me on his return.
-
The guys just bought it.... Is he selling it now?
-
Thanks mate. After owning a few E30 BMW's I am really wanting to get a Corrado. There are alot out there but not yet found 'the one'. I'm sure she is out there somewhere.... If you know of one for sale please let me know. Thanks.
