  1. Thank you for all the responses, I think as I’m not yet as handy with mechanics as I’d like, that when I have another Corrado it’ll be reserved for second car/fair weather duties. That way it’ll always be enjoyed without it having the pressure/burden of the daily commute. A potential new role at work may require me to use my daily for doing visits etc so won’t always be able to avoid places you wouldn’t want to take a car your precious about lets say, so for that reason I may move to having two cars. Keep the Corrado feeling special.
  2. So, I’ve just sold my Z4 Coupe and I’m contemplating going back to the one car I regret selling, my Corrado VR6. Before I got the Z4C, I thought about doing this also, but my local VAG specialist suggested it’s becoming a bit of an issue getting spares/replacement parts etc for them. Now I’ve not been around Corrado’s for a couple of years now, so is this the case? So, is it a good idea to daily a VR6 or is it better to now have them solely as a second car that doesn’t need to be relied upon so to speak? Thanks Aaron
  3. Easier if i just post up a link. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/292284458028 Looking for another VR6 so if anyone fancies a deal? I have cash to put towards a VR6 if necessary(i.e a nice one :) ) Aaron
  4. Hi guys/gals Bit of a request, so I’m on the lookout for another Corrado VR6. I had one previously but sold due personal reasons that made the ownership of the Rado not that pleasureable. So aside from the glorious sound, I don’t really have to many memories of the car, good or bad! So I figure before committing to trekking about the country to find another decent one in budget, I’d ask on here if there is anyone in Norfolk/Norwich area with a relatively standard or well set up Vr6 that i can come look at and maybe you take me for a spin? No stanced Rado’s please as I test drove one recently and that was nearly enough for me to not want another. Looked lovely but drove like crap. Hopefully I’m not generalising Stanced cars, but i imagine they sacrifice drivability in general? Would be much appreciated, and can supply fuel/beer or coffee tokens, whatever your vice is :) Thanks Aaron
  5. Thanks for reply, it does look like a good un, can anyone do a Saturday viewing for me?
  6. Hi, Would anyone be able to view a Corrado for me? It's located in Sunderland. Happy to provide some beer tokens in return. PM me if a possibility. Thanks in advance. Aaron
  7. Thanks for your input, I've seen that Auto, it does look nice, how are the Auto's on these? With the way the prices seem to be going I definitely regret selling my old one even more so, but at the time it was necessary unfortunately. I've had a good hunt on eBay and at the price for some are eye watering, not surprised though always expected the prices to climb.
  8. Hi, Having sold my VR6 last year, VERY regretfullly, I'm now on the look out for another, a bit of a present to myself for passing all my studies and becoming a Paramedic. Budget isn't amazing at £4K but hopefully I'll find something suitable. Most important to me is it being mechanically sound. As per title midnight blue would be perfect but I'm open to any of the darker colours. PM me if you have or know of anything suitable. Thanks Aaron
  9. 500 miles is nout for the right car, I've gone much further.
  10. Not sure why people are so afraid to travel for a car, it's all part of the fun.
  11. Seen this? Not mine but could be worth a view? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301925860977?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  12. This blue one? Which blue one? For the right car a wait wouldn't be out of the question :)
  13. For top end of the budget I'd hope for modified, at least in terms of upgrades to suspension/brakes/exhaust. Standard is okay too but only if it allowed me to do at least a couple of bits within budget. Really I'm open to anything including storms, though I imagine I'll have to compromise if a storm due to their value. Really can't wait to get one :)
  14. Hi guys/gals. I'm on the lookout for my first Corrado, viewed my first one last night and it solidified my love for them. Always had a big soft spot for them. I'm after a VR6 as per the title, I've up to £4K for the right one. Preferably one of the darker colours but condition is king. Let me know if you've got something suitable either on this thread or PM me. Thanks Aaron
  15. Hi, I'm after a VR6, Ideally it would be a black one. Only colours I'm not interested in are white, red and green. Budget is around £4k but for the right one may stretch it a little further. Aaron
  16. Is there anyone with a Vr6 local to Norwich that would be happy to take me for a spin in one, so I can get a feel for what they are like? I've been offered a very very nice 300zx and it's the only car that can sway me from a Vr6 so really I need to see one properly and experience their drive ability so I can make my mind up. Please and thank you and I'll chuck some beer tokens the way of whoever can help me out.
  17. Extremely interesting :) but with the bigger brakes and uprated suspension it sticks to the road like glue! I think the supercharged MR2's run around 150-160 BHP just to give you an idea of how interesting this is :)
  18. Hi, I'm on the look out for a VR6 corrado(preferably in black) I've always loved these cars ever since I was a wee lad :) and now I feel is the perfect time to have one. Currently I drive a Woodsport Toyota MR2 mk1 which is running a 2 litre turbo at 10 PSI currently creating 225 BHP. This is up for sale currently £4k if anyone fancies :) http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=184316 Definitely open to a swap if anyone is interested. Hope you're all having a great weekend Aaron
  19. Hi Guys/Gals Currently I have a Woodsport built Toyota MR2 Mk1 2 litre turbo conversion. I've had 3 Mk1's now and this one being the pinnacle of Mk1 ownership, it's currently running a completely stock rev 2 turbo set up at 10 PSI and putting out approx 225bhp. Lots of room for more BHP (add a boost controller and pop it up to 15 PSI for around 275 bhp). http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=184312 http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=184316 Anyways my heart is set on a VR6 now, preferably in black, but I do quite like the Blue also. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM. Cheers Aaron
