Damn annoying when you spend alot of money on something that is supposed to be the dogs bxxxxcks only to find out that it aint all that. When it works, the alarm is GR8. but not what I'd expect from a £400 alarm! Has ne1 used a Toad alarm as they are supposed to be just as good as Clifford if not better.

Tis going back to Garage opefully this weekend, to try and locate a faulty sensor and to check the wiring.... Will let you all know :?

I'm spending alot of money on my G60 now so I thought I'd upgrade to a Clifford 300... Cost me about £400 fitted. All installed, was well chuffed with it, automatic windows etc etc... But.... Has anyone had problems with your Clifford alarm?? As mine now intermittently does not close the windows, alarm goes off 30 secs after setting it or beeps 4 times for god knows what reason and sometimes a delay of 5-7 secs before ignition lights power up. This happening the odd time is fine, but it seems to be every other day one or all faults happen. Have been back 3 times now and had 2x new sensors fitted and yes it always works fine when in the garage that installed it. I thought that Clifford was the 'Dogs Boxxxxks' in alarms. Me, I'm not that impressed. Is this just me or has anybody else had probs with them. One other thing, when getting a new alarm fitted ALWAYS get them to do a bulb check before installing, cos getting your car back installed with two bulbs gone and them then saying oh yea can you sign this.... another annoying thing.

Hello people, has anybody ever had any problems with there front lights? Mine seem to be strange, they work fine for ages but every so often either the main bulbs will blow (Side n Main beam ok) or just pack up both at the same time or one by one. Both went last week so off to Halfords I trotted and just before buying I checked and both fine now, and yet last night on my way out both are not working again. Any ideas on where I can start fault finding as I don't want to unleash an electrician onto my car just yet.

Got any more info on it?

It's the Scorpion DTM twin pipe which seems like it is going to be touching both sides of the bumper :( I want to keep it looking nice so that is why I want the protector, but because of the shape of the bumper all standard ones are out of the window. Any sheet metal workers around?

Hi All, I'm fitting a new Scorpion exhaust to my C but I need to get a heat protector. All the ones I have found won't fit the shape of the bumper. Any ideas anyone?

My simple drivers wheelbearing change has now escalated to a new driveshaft being required :cry: £225+vat Is the best quote so far and that is for the part only. I gotta get it fitted to :( Does ne1 know where I can beat this price?

I'm certainly interested, I think chrome on cars is realy good. Has ne1 ever painted there callipers? If so what paint, how easy, and did the paint last? I got alot of nice space with me alloys and it would make a nice touch 8)
