Ice, No i havent, to be honest im looking for somewhere to get a custom set - sounds like he could help then... Far as i can see a stock set is over 60 quid, so 75 is reasonable i guess... seems a lot for stainless hoses, cant help feeling goodridge are takin advantage of the niche.... Oh, and thanks for that!

H8RRA, http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.php/312mm_brakes Should help with the shopping list..

Banjo bolts as far as i know need to be 1.5mm pitch for the Mk3 Golf calipers, as opposed to the 1.0mm found on the Mk4 calipers, i shall be using Mk3 items and have the origional hoses anyways... The goodridge hoses are my main concern - i.e. getting what i need at minimum outlay! without ordering several kits etc... Thanks for the help so far, Any other info will as always be appreciated.. Cheers!

Hi, Am going to be fitting a 288 front set up and mk4 golf rear calipers to my VR6 soon(ish) At the same time i shall be changing to braided hoses all round. The way i see it, if i buy a corrado pack, the only hoses of use to me will be the body to rear beam hoses - as the fronts will need to be mk3 golf vr6 items (due to different fixing on calipers), and the rears will require conversion hoses... A couple Qs: 1. Im assuming the body to beam hoses are the same for the corrado and Mk3 golf VR6 - can anyone confirm this please.. This would mean i will only need to buy a Mk3 VR6 kit and the conversion hoses... 2. Can someone please tell me how much, and where (other than C+R if applicable) the conversion hoses can be purchased... 3. Anyone with the same set up - does anyone know of anywhere that sells custom packs of goodridge hoses, i.e. to save me buying a golf set, and the conversion hoses... Many Thanks

Hi, can anyone tell me the rough suspension set up on the red car in the banner up top, ride height etc. Ive recently bought a VR6, (ill post some pics soon as i get a chance), and was thinkin about loweing it.. I had koni fully adjustable coilovers on my last car, and they were great, i was able to get a very nice ride height without buggering up the drivability or handling... Is it just me or are corrados one of the hardest cars to get a decent looking drop on.. they always seem to look high? Cheers

All the above wires can be extended using standard multicore wire. As said the bare wire is just a shield, and is in place to reduce interference to the signal carrying cores. Hope that helps...

Hi there, I wonder if you lot could help me put a rough value on a Corrado... Its a 94 VR6 in metalic green, 65 - 70K miles, FVWSH. Car is totally standard apart from Koni shocks and dampers (-40mm) and a different Headunit etc. It has a Cat 1 clifford system along with a tracker. Condition wise it really is mint, with the exception of a small dent (golf ball size) to the rear arch on one size, this is not a major issue, but it is there! The interior is almost factory condition, no wear at all apart from the slight signs of use on the drivers seat bolster.. It is currently on its second owner, the first guy bought it from a VW dealership and used it rarely, putting only 35K on it is the first 6 year. For the past 5 years it has been owned by my brother who takes very good care of it indeed. It had the head gasket replaced a while ago as this went on cyl. no1 between the cylinder and the coolant channel, apparently caused by inferior HGs being used on early VRs.. Anyway AMD sorted it all out fitting new valve stem seals along the way... Only other thing to mention is that it was hit about a yr ago and as a result had a new rear quarter fitted via insurance.. The job done was good, but if course it is not 'as it left the factory' now.... Basically im after the value of the car if it was placed for sale now, he is thinkin of sellin it and id like to know the realistic value of it as i have been offered first refusal. Im guessin this is the best place to find out such a thing due to you lot being up to date on all things Corrado!! Many thanks, if i have missed anything then please ask what you need to know. Cheers Steve

Well depends to some extent on your budget. H&R are renound for quality, and are meant to be one of the, if not the 'best' Other than that, quality brands are: Koni, FK, Weitch. Ive not had any of these, but know peolpe who have... Regards suppliers, all the usual routes really: Venommotorsport.com Awesome-Gti.co.uk Or try http://www.Rimstyle.com - a fairly new business, but the best i have dealt with so far. If you give em a ring, or drop em an email, speak to toby. Tell him Steve B from Porka.net sent you - his prices really are competitive... HTH

375 is not too bad. Ive heard of it done for 300 - 350 and thats by a good quality installer, but they deal mainly with trade i.e. fleet cars, contracts etc... but do clifford too. If pilot are a large establishment, then this will effect the cost... IMO its worth adding a bit more for peace of mind and quality of installation..

Aparently, from what ive read, the climatronic can be installaed to just control the normal heaters, and can therefore work without the need for AC?..
