  1. Right, we may have a further feature for the shift light. It may well be possible to introduce a soft and hard rev limit to the system. We already have the provision for a high current driver that was originally there to run a shift-lamp, but with a bit of investigation we should be able to add some further software to the system to pull the coil down to earth and hey presto instant rev limit. I think a soft limit that toggles the output with a hard limit the switches it to ground should work ok. The question is how much interest is there? Price wise we're thinking; £70 for the shift light and rev limiter £85 for the shift light fitted and rev limiter (single wire that goes to the coil) What do you reckon?
  2. So you can't actually drive your car, as they have lost your paperwork?

What a bargainous purchase. And for the record, your seats look awesome.
  5. Had a similar problem with my rear tyres last MOT. Thought it was the wheel bearing, turned out that both rear tyres had gone out of shape on the inside edge. Replaced the tyres and hey presto the noise has gone. Funnily enough, the noise has returned for this years MOT, so I'm assuming it is the tyres again!!
  6. Those rims are going to look phat! 8) I don't know if I could wait to fit them on my car, if they were mine

  8. Awesome advert, and one that will definately be worth £500,000 when you think about how much it is talked about. Similar in effect as the Sony Bravia LCD advert with the exploding paint
  9. Ah yes, but I think more peoples input would be good.....
  10. Following reading this thread, I thought it might not be a bad idea to get all the guys on here who have done wheel/engine component polishing to put down and "does and don'ts" and methods, tools/materials and pictures, to try and put together a 'How To'. I polished my rocker cover myself, by hand, but I'm sure there are ways to acheive the same result without losing all the skin off the end of your fingers!! So anyone got any advice?
  11. I second that....might have to start a new thread so people can put down the does and don'ts....
  12. Tom, how come your rears locked up? Is your brake bias valve buggered or something??
  13. My "master plan" envolves a lot of work, a lot of money, a new interior, a paint job, and a turbo........ ......Unfortunately I don't have any money! Must sell more shift lights!
  14. Fair play dude, they look really good. 8) Quite fancy doing something different like that on my Borbets, as they are normally polished as well.....hmmm....
