Looks just like my computer desk does at the mo too! Good skills dude. I see that you went for MS II! Stuck with MS I V3 myself for now. I was going to try and use the existing relay board in the Corrado myself, although I might have to get a relay board yet.

Andy, its possible, but I've looked at two sets of VR clocks that don't work, and tried replacing the diode to no avail. I can get the part number for you on Monday when I'm back at work anyway.

I quite like them to be honest, but they would be a total pain in the arse to keep clean! Especially on the inside!!

Oh noooooooo, no shed! Couldn't manage without a shed, even if it is just a little one. :( I know, I know, luckily the missus doesn't mind me doing car stuff in the living room, as long as it doen's involve engine oil!

The workshop was a bit of a joke  Its just my computer desk with a soldering iron on it!! I love those American DIY programs when the talk about the 'Shop'. Cos everybody has a lathe, milling machine, TIG, MIG, bandsaw and 3000sqft to play in! They do like to do things in a "big" style though don't they! I don't even havea garage or shed! Do all my "not too messy" work in the living room

Mines running like a pile of schitt and has been for a while, so really want to get this done. Might have sourced a 20v inlet manifold fuel rail and injectors for £50 as well, just waiting for the bloke to get back to me! Just FPR, coil pack and throttle body to find now!
-
Right, started on the build of the Megasquirt today! Only done the power supply for the circuit so far, but here's a piccy.... Oh and he's a piccy of my workshop

 I'm gonna get it modified to fit I think. I've read a bit on the MS website, but I'll check out Vortex this is an Autosim. Part of the company I work for builds them. Very handy bit of kit! It's kinda like a Stim board on steriods!

Not yet! Been busy over Christmas!! Think I'll be calling you dude! I do indeed! Just trying to source 20v turbo inlet manifold, fuel rail, injectors and throttle body. Not sure about the ditributer interferance as I'm going to use a ford EDIS system for the spark. Cheers for the offer, but I should be ok as I have access to an Autosim at work.

How you getting on with this dude? -
Is it possible to use 1.9 Diesel turbo exhaust manifold on a 16v head? Do they have the same stud pattern? Could be a cheap option for an exhaust manifold if it fits? If it does fit what make of turbo's did they use? Garrett? Just thinking about the mounting flange!

Good lad! Give me a PM once you're ready! -
 Only recieved the squirt on Friday, so still in bits. Will be building it up in the new year, just need to sort out the other bits that I need for the conversion (not as straight forward as the VR  )
-
Sweet, I'll keep that in mind (probably need as much help as I can get! )
-
That's a good price! Considering some numpty reversed into mine recently and it needs fixing anyway, I might have to look into that at the same time!!
-
Did you smooth your front bumper yourself dude? If so, how did you do it?
-
Cheers dude... Slowly slowly!! Offering your services are ya??
-
sh!tty death, that's good value - where did you buy it from? I got it from Glen's Garage. Took a while to come, but as the dollar is so weak at the mo, it seemed the best option!
-
I've been looking at one of those, but was trying to find out a way of building my own controller and just using a standard MK4 GTi wideband lambda..... might have to give that a go
-
