Hi mate is the heater motor still intact?
-
Looking for the part number 536 959 263 I ordered one from ebay and unfortunately isn't correct as it doesn't have the two connector prongs. Any help appreciated!
-
Does anyone know what this is? It's free running along the drive shaft, rubber... not really sure of it's purpose. On a 16v Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sean! Would this be the right part to solve my problems, presuming that is the issue! http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/en/Sump-baffle-plate-/-windage-tray-VW-Corrado-Golf-Passat-G60-GTI-16V-2.0-1.8-Engine?info=2989

Out of interest bud, how easy was it to replace the clips? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Morning chaps, A month or so ago I found the oil level warning light (and the beeping) would come on if I went to sharply round a corner, presumably throwing all the oil to one side of the pan and setting off the sensor. Obviously this shouldn't happen, so I topped it up and its been going fine since. However, I went round a particularly sharp bend yesterday, probably a bit too quickly, and the light came on for a second and beeped at me. So I'm having to guess its either burning oil or loosing it somewhere? I have been doing a lot of miles recently, 60-100 miles every day, so maybe that is a contributing factor? Has anyone had any experience with the 9a and this issue? Any ideas of what it maybe? Valve seals? I've got a new filter I need to fit as it hasn't been done in a year, I know terrible! But I can't imagine this is the issue at all. Any help would be much appreciated!

Evening chaps, I do apologise if this is in the wrong question. But in a bit of an odd one. Today, unfortunately, the Corrado failed its MOT... for 4 individual, non concerning reasons thank god! No corrosion yay! However, the hazard warning lights are faulty... I've never even used them since I got the car, so I had no clue that they weren't working. But what happens when you de-press the button, the left hand lights will function as they're meant to; but the right hand lights will not, they work individually when indicating ect. The indicator light on the dash doesn't even display. I figure its not a relay, as the whole lot wouldn't work. SO any ideas as to what it can be? I've ordered a new stalk and hazard switch assembly, do you think this will fix it? Has anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance! Will

Hi chaps, I've been driving my valver for around 6 months now and love it of course. However I do find it tops out quite quickly, with the current gearbox I hit 3,000 rpm at 60 in 5th. I don't do a lot of long distance driving, but in the trips I have done it does feel like it needs another gear. What I'm wondering is, is there another gearbox that will fit the Corrado with different ratios? I know with a 16v golf there was a later gearbox you could fit, so I was wondering if there was one similar for the Corrado? Any help, advice ect is appreciated! Thanks Will

The scuttle cover? Has already been done mate. I'm looking at the door membrane as we speak aga
-
It's awkward because it's my daily, it's getting the time to strip the interior out. And quite frankly I don't have the know how to do it without breaking things ah! I'll worry about the underlay when the leak is sorted!
-
I'll give it a look tomorrow !
-
Ah right well it's he rear passenger dude... Wonder if it can cause the same issue
-
Any chance you could elaborate bud?
-
Sun roof is dry bud. I don't understand how it can still be the scuttle cover as there is no water in the front passenger footwell? I'll check the membrane [emoji106]
-
Hi chaps. I'm at my wits end with this! I've looked all over and can't find an explanation for this. Initially the water was throughout the passenger side, new seal on the scuttle covers sorted the front out. But water still seems to be getting in the rear some how. If anyone can't shed some light on this I'd be so grateful and I may not loose all of my hair by the time this is sorted aha! I love you corrado, but you're more high maintenance than my ex! Cheers! Will
-
No worries bud! I'll probably end up spraying my current one
-
Cheers bud [emoji106]

Hi chaps, looking for the rear badge. Part number 357853601B chrome preferably. But show me what you've got! If there is any out there that is aha!

Corrado owners in the Salisbury area

I've done Salisbury to Yeovil on the 303... Not nice in the Rado -
Hi guys. This is a really stupid question, but my heads all over the place at the minute so the forum seems the best place! How many exhaust hangers do I need to replace to OE ones? Is it two on the back and tow in the centre? If so, does any one know which types? Thanks Will

Sorry I thought the aux belt ran the power steering. Must brush up on my corrado knowledge
-
Thinking though, why would the alternator belt snap of the water pump has seized surely the aux belt should have broken. Not the alternator belt?
-
It's the cost of getting it replaced. Not having any where to work on the car. Plus working long hours, I have to take it to the garage
