hi just read your last couple of threads, I had the same issue with mine, ive just changed the throttle position sensor, a 2nd hand bosch coil pack, new plugs and leads and a 2nd hand maf, all roaring fine again now

mainly white, but some is in primer

just picked up a load of bits of a guy near chorley in Lancashire who,s breaking a vr6, he,s got loads of parts available including a low mileage engine, proper sound guy, his names roger and he can be contacted on 07812007372. he,s not a member on here so I said I would post his number for others to contact him. ive just bought £180 worth of bits an hour later and the vr6 roars yet again

not tried different oil, but was running okish until the dreaded knock yesterday, definitely think its serious,cheers anyway

has anyone got a spare engine for sale, just fired her up yesterday and sounded like a black cab, bottom end knock( absolutely gutted) :scratch::mad2: has been running rough as for 2 weeks with it hunting on idle, changed everything, air flow meter, lambda sensor, plugs, leads, ISV, fuel pipes, breather hose, then the little f.....r goes and repays me with another problem, the joys of owning a VR, does sound absolutely mean though when running right ( if only )

how easy is it to change the heater matrix on a vr, hope its not a dash out job:scratch:
