  1. Now sold & on it's way to a new home with a forum member. Thanks for the advert
  2. Wouldn't want to split them from the car they are part of it's character now, I think they really suit it.
  3. Still £1500, no less, but you are welcome to pay more if you are feeling generous! Not worth the trip if you want to make a bid though as it would be a wasted journey for you.
  4. Free Sunday if you can let me know a rough time.
  5. Have had a lot of positive results from ebay in the past as I always do a massive description & lots of pictures - sold a T25 camper years ago that the guy didn't even look at when he turned up to collect as he said he had seen every bit he needed to from the pics!
  6. No good to me, won't fit the van - would've been interested if they were 5x112.
  7. So do I, already regretting Ebay after last nights messer.
  8. NOW ON EBAY http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/172384402509?
  9. Yep car is as the build thread, same brake setup & I changed the rear springs for the correct eibach ones when Sean got them. The only thing that doesn't work on the cimacontrol is the AC as none of that was ever fitted to the car in the original build. It is the 2.8 4 motion AUE lump from a Bora.
  10. Time for someone else to take over http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?95651-24v-Converted-Aqua-Blue-Corrado
  11. The time has come to move this on, I can't economically find somewhere to store it & I can't afford to keep it on the road as a third car so needs must. It's still on the road & will be used daily until it goes, as I am not getting another car until this one goes. Mot'd until 31st May 2017 mileage is currently just under 207k but will go up as it is used daily. Has had a small patch welded on the rear sill for MOT, chains are noisy but no worse than when I bought it & not as much of a problem on these engines. Bodywork is bad but not much worse than when I bought it, mainly more lacquer has peeled off! I serviced it just before it's MOT all filters, Castrol oil + brand new oil filter cap after breaking the old one getting it off It also had new rainsport 3's all round at the same time, although the wheels could do with a refurb again. Check out these links to better explain the car. link to original build thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?80155-Corrado-Part-Duex-24V-Aqua-Blue-Cruise-Control Link to original sale thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?92112-Corrado-24v-SOLD Will take £1500 no less, owes me more but that's life! Looking for a Galaxy/Sharan TDI as a replacement. Ideal winter project, swap the good bits into a better shell, or just drive it like I have been doing! Album of pics here http://s104.photobucket.com/user/K_N_S_JENNINGS/library/raddo?sort=3&page=1 all but 3 taken today 2/10/16 Located in Basildon, Essex.
  12. It was night & day difference between the springs - I swapped out the springs that came with the car for standards as the ride was so **** with the back end bogging down all the time. Feels much more in control with these new springs which makes it more fun to drive, especially hen partaking in some friendly street racing.
  13. 335mm on passenger side - 330mm on drivers with about half a tank of petrol in - fronts are 330mm/328mm on the levelest bit of road I could find around here.
  14. It's here if you want it back, Sean. Just had another pair of tyres today as I got a bad puncture, Christ knows what I run over but it left an in round rent in the tread, luckily it wasn't in either of the new ones I had for the mot!
  15. Well finally got it through it's Mot, nothing major to do just finding time to do it! had to put on a pair of tyres, small patch on the sill, change a rear wheel bearing (done both sides whilst it was up in the air) , adjust the handbrake & bleed the brakes through. Looking like I may be having to moving it on soon to get something a bit more practical & economical but If I can find somewhere to pug it away for a few years I'll do that instead!
  16. As the new custodian of this motor I thought I better add on what it's been up to. Not much other than putting standard springs back on as the rear was too far down for my liking and then a lot of driving. It's my daily driver, hasn't missed a beat or let me down and has now been through 2 tanks of petrol, the best mileage so far was 340 so you can tell how it's being driven! Sean managed to get the spring situation sorted with Eibach and kindly sent the new pair down to me so I finally had a minute to get round to swapping them over - much better now - it has a better look and holds it up better on take off. Some pics of how it looks now I know it needs a clean but I can't be arsed would rather be driving it! This pic is the 3 types of sprig I now have Left is a standard, middle is the new Eibachs I now have on the car and right is the Eibachs that came with the car
