Just read the full thread, made my standard day at work very very interesting! Some amazing work put into this, but did the sound setup not do it for you? looks incredible from this end, really motivating!!

if you can't find speedline ones there are other genuine vw caps that fit, the centre caps for a mk4 golf, part no. 1J0 601 171 XRW at £8.34 each, I done that because I couldn't face paying the price for a set of speedline caps Sent from my SM-G901F using Tapatalk

To be honest I think the fault was with the inside of the cylinder wall, it had corrosion so I think that's why it wasn't sealing properly. The seals didn't look too bad, but they were replaced anyway along with buffing down the cylinder
-
yeah I think at this age almost everyone is going to go through the same process, that's right, they bore out the centre then insert a shim to make it the right diameter again aswel as new seals, I have a spare master cylinder I got from someone on here incase I needed one, but don't need I anymore, you want that one?
-
I was loosing pressure on my brake pedal, if you slowly press it then it will eventually drop to the floor, pressing hard quickly still kept pressure though so I got a couple weeks driving out of it before I had to make a move and get it fixed, I got a set of seals sent over and got someone to replace them for me, although the old seals looked alright.. we think the fault was with the actual cylinder barrel had lumps of corrosion so it wasn't sealing properly, so it had to be sanded down lightly
-
mystic rado, Past Parts recondition them for about £150, but take a few weeks, or buy the seal kit from them for about £35 and do it yourself, iv just had mine refurbished and fitted recently
-
replaced both rear wheel bearings, started the process of half tinting the rear lights aswel, we will soon see how they turn out
-
that was easy! pm'd

I already have the inner pair of standard red & amber rear lights, does anyone have the outer pair for sale? thanks, Ross
