both pipes are described "resupply pipe" so I'm guessing they are both return the fluid to the reservoir but I could be wrong

getting a good mechanic to fit the seals for me today, I don't trust myself, if I cut one then I'm back to the start again. then get it fitted to the car and bleed the system, hopefully it goes smoothly and I can get it back up and running for the weekend, I miss it already:(

Some info that could be useful to some people on here, The time has come that I need to get the brake master cylinder replaced as the seals seem to have worn and I'm loosing pressure in the brake pedal. As most people know there is 2 versions of master cylinder, and the model I have fitted (with abs, with a 23.8mm bore) I use my car '95 vr6 WITH ABS as a daily so I can't be without it for too long, Past Parts quoted me around £150 all in to fully refurbish my mc, but the job will take a couple weeks. Instead I was able to order the seal kit from them, for a reasonable price of £34 fully posted, it did take about 5 days to arrive but it's saved me loads of time and money.

it will be the bearing cups/caps, I don't have them fitted on mine, so that will be the problem!
-
no don't be daft! I didn't run spacers, that's quite strange how they didn't fit right on yours because iv seen them on a couple other corrado's
-
what were you doing to it?!?

£380, pickup from Fife, Scotland, can deliver or meet if not too far away see my gumtree link for more info and pictures: https://www.gumtree.com/p/wheel-rims-tyres/vw-audi-tt-comps-alloy-wheels-set-17-5x100-/1155277676 many thanks! Ross

fitted new oil pressure sensors as they were leaking pretty badly, replaced the rocker cover seal which was a bigger job than I thought. I gave the inlet manifold a buff up while it was off. just ordered a new plastic radiator elbow as mine is cracking (got one for £8 new which I was happy about), so that will be next with a full coolant refresh at the same time.
-
probably stating the obvious but see if vw still sell a complete seal for the cover (or get a tube of sealant if there isn't one on that model), saves doing the job twice
-
thanks for the interest, but that is for the non-abs models, the part number for the one I need ends in "D" instead of "B" and also doesn't have the 4 smaller holes, I'm assuming they are for brake lines
-
Dave could you pm me, I will take that for now! then look into getting one refurbished -thanks for the info

Anyone got a master cylinder for a 95 vr6, (WITH ABS) can't find one anywhere online. thanks in advance Ross

ahhh some wise words! hopefully they will evaporate during the summer aswel, I'm scared to use a heat gun incase I damage the paint but like you said it's worth a try on a small area first
-
I have seen on another page it's been pretty much stripped bare, only engine parts and brakes left, interior is gone

Just found this exact thing on my rado a few days ago so I also know your pain, just like what you describe it's alot worse on the roof but now the bonnet is starting to get worse. It got painted by the previous owner about a year ago, have you any idea if bodyshops do any kind of warranty or goodwill work? Iv been trying to find out where about it was done but no luck yet, I think around the Aberdeen area.

part received, great service and packaging, thanks again👍

Any update on the Alpine speakers? you had them fitted yet, also do they plug in with the standard connectors and fit correctly?
-
still good for £65 posted to Fife, Scotland? I need one asap and Beru seems like the way to go
-
I would be interested to hear how the speakers are, did you get an amp or you just running them straight from the stereo?
-
raging!! after leaving my car parked in Aldi's car park opposite my work I have just noticed some inconsiderate arsehole has banged their door off mine, managed to get their paint off and there is no paintwork damage, now just to get the dent removed!
