Yeah it started to whine about a week ago so I thought better safe than sorry. And looking through the cars history last change was done 2010.

Ok nice one ,at least I'm not going mad, there are 2 different ones. So the question is where do I get one? Everyone seems to only stock or list the normal manual adjust with the 2 holes. Anyone know what the part number for it is.

Hi folks. This may sound like a daft question. Is there different types of tensioners? The one I've been supplied with looks totally different from the one on the car. Everywhere only seems to list 1 tensioner including vw.

My thoughts on it are be it a Corrado or any classic. I think the whole classic scene is being ruined by people treating these cars as investments. They should be for driving and enjoying. Not buying, holding on for a few months then inflating the price. People say to me all the time, you car must be worth a bit now. I always respond with. It's worth nothing as it's never ever for sale. So has no monetary value. Get some confused looks lol

I feel your pain. I've actually had it happen to me while sitting in the car waiting on the other half to do whatever it is she does in supermarkets. Car pulls up next to door opens and hits mine. I confront the complete arse, his responce made me see red, "it's just an old car mate" To say i was angry is an understatement.

Fitted the new alloys for summer. Wonder what the chances of keeping these clean are, crap pic on phone though

Let's face it we live in the uk, it's gonna rain! And we'll get caught out in it. My goto tyre is the uniroyal rainsport 3, may not last the longest ( got about 8k out my last set) so for you thats 8 years. But they grip like hell and with the softer compound i find them a very comfortable tyre compared to some. Oh and very reasonably priced

They are off a new Mini Cooper originally. I had them refurbed ready to build up I've only got bolts for 2 but they can be bought easy enough online. No centre caps and one has a slight flat spot. See pics. They are genuine bbs not reps. I can provide 205/40/17 tyres too if needed. Collection from Ayr ,south ayrshire scotland. Looking for £250 or there abouts.
