  1. Replaced both front windows as they were badly scratched after finally tracking down some decent condition ones locally, also fitted a set of standard rear lights with the orange indicators as it's more retro which is the route the exterior of the car is now going in...
  2. Welcome to the forum, check out the for sale forum on here there's a few very nice Corrados for sale currently... :)
  3. I was going to but then thought I wouldn't be able to make the show, so pulled out then decided to go up and a friend who was organising the VR6OC stand needed an extra car so went on that with him as everyone else had dropped out! :(
  4. My photo is too big for this page to load in full resolution lol... Here it is re-sized for you, lovely Corrado you have there bud! :)
  5. Thank you both :) I'm in Plymouth, Devon.
  6. Do you have both front windows? And what condition are they in? Any scratches etc? Thanks.

  10. I know this is the wrong forum, but thought it may get viewed more in here and I am quite desperate. Does anyone know where I can buy both front windows for my 1991 Corrado? I have looked on ebay and messaged the ones for sale, but not had any response. Or if anyone is selling any? But they need to be fairly decent with no bad scratches etc Thank you Corrado boys & girls :)
  11. Well the charger is still running nicely, even after a spirited drive up to Ultimate Dubs at the weekend. First time showing with the Corrado inside, think it went down well but tbh I'm not fussed I built it for me lol. Anyway, here's a few pictures of it indoors...
  12. Here is a link to all my photos... (too many to post up) https://www.facebook.com/chrisgonzalezphotography
  13. You got one of my white G60, thanks for the photo :) I'll upload a few I got once I've done editing them, but for now all I have is one of mine and my friend's VR6 Corrado...
  14. You need to check to see if the bulbs are getting power with a volt meter/light. I'm guessing you've checked the fuses and they're all okay? If it is the whole unit on one side (indicator / sidelight / headlamp) then that would point towards either a power supply problem, or an earthing problem. If it was both, then I'd say switch, but if it's one side that rules that out.
  15. Only just saw this and would have put mine forward for your stand... The pictures I have seen online look good, will be going along next year for sure :)
  16. Good ones are holding value and rising... However there are a lot of ones out there that need a lot of work to get them up to scratch so I think the prices reflect that. I looked at a fair few before I bought mine, lots described as good condition / excellent condition etc. The reality is, they had dings, dents, rust, mis-matched panels from paintwork in the past, tatty interiors, tired engines etc. These are often the ones that sell cheap, as the owners know they need another £2000+ spent on them to get them into either a reliable and/or tidier state appearance wise. I'm not saying there aren't good ones about at "bargain" prices, but there are also PLENTY of examples prices at exactly all they are worth, just going by the 6 I looked at before I bought mine (which I still had resprayed and lots of other work done).
  17. HIC are using mine on their stand as they contacted me and asked if they could use the car so of course I said yes lol, first time I've managed to get inside with any of my cars/builds so I'm looking forward to it... Been outside in the show & shine carpark area many times before, but it does seem you either need to be very lucky or know the right people to get inside these days! Who else is inside? And who is in the show & shine / Club Stand section?
  18. So who from the forum is going this year? :)
  19. Managed to get hold of a genuine N.O.S deep front splitter for the car from a work colleague who had bought one for his old Corrado but sold the car before getting a chance to fit it, so it sat in his garage for years... Old one came off nicely, and the new one went on just as easily. Just in time for Ultimate Dubs too :)
  20. Thanks :) Yeah, I think I am just a little worried because the original charger failed so badly... Really don't want that to happen again EVER lol. I've had air ride done by OCD and that was done to a high standard, and the pictures of the rebuild etc they sent show that it was done properly, I don't doubt their workmanship for a second but theres always a chance that a seal or something could be faulty, but as I say hopefully it just needed a good run to get it all moving about/lubricated properly.
  21. After what feels like forever, I have some progress (touch wood!)... The newly rebuilt charger from Only Charged Dubs arrived yesterday so it was all hands to the pump to get it fitted before the weekend. Got the old one removed (again) and then fitted the new one, fitted the new oil feed and return pipes and carried out an engine flush and oil change with the correct grade of oil 10w40 Semi Synthetic. Primed the new charger as per the instructions, and then let the car idle and got the engine up to temperature to check for leaks etc. After a few adjustments, it was started again and after a few minutes I slowly increased the revs from idle upto 1000rpm, 1500rpm, 2000rpm and then 2200rpm when I heard what can only be described as a scary noise! Almost like a buzzing from the charger area. Checked the oil feed pipe, yep plenty of oil in there. By this time, it was getting late and I'd had enough for one evening, so I packed everything away and thought I'd tackle it again in the morning with after some sleep... Saturday morning and I started the car up and again let it idle up to temperature, another quick check in the daytime for leaks was also done. Increased the revs as I had done the previous day and the noise returned. I phoned OCD and spoke to Matt who said that you can sometimes get noises from the chargers after a rebuild, and to take the car for a drive and see how I got on, which I did. At first the noise remained, and I was ready to admit defeat when after a longer drive at a constant RPM, the noise got quieter! I carried on driving, and the more I was driving the better the noise got! Now I'm not sure if this is normal, or anyone has come across this before (would be good to hear if anyone has), but long story short I have covered 80 miles today with varying loads whilst keeping the RPM under 3000RPM as per the instructions for running in, and the noise has gone completely and I'm just left with the hollow G60 noise (hard to describe) that from what I can work out, is normal. So fingers crossed all is good now, and I can start to enjoy Corrado ownership again! I'm guessing that the oil just needed to get to all the right places within the charger and driving it more obviously got the lubrication to where it needed to go, and perhaps it was a slightly dry seal thats now been lubricated? Who know's I'm not that clued up on G-Laders but as long as that noise stays away and the boost stays within the engine then I'm happy!
  22. Sounds awesome, cannot wait until the magazine is out :)
  23. Welcome back to Corrado ownership... Sponsored by MasterCard! Will be good to see another one get saved and brought back up to scratch...
  24. Well enough time had passed since the respray to give the car a good wash, seal and wax seeing as it was a dry(ish) day. Then went out and took some photos...
