  1. Looking good dude, take me out for a spin when it's all sorted! You'll be glad to hear i'm not leaving the fold, regretted selling the yellow C so going to keep this one as well as the golf and bug and........... Will get a ride round one day soon when it's not pissing down like it is now!
  2. 186,118. Still pulls like mad...............until today when the AA brought it home cos the throttle position sensor packed in :( First breakdown ive had in 10000 miles though.
  3. You are'nt the first to say that!!! Approx 120mm at the front and 100mm at the back, going any lower at the front would require chassis leg mods, the track rods used to catch the bottom of the legs! Nice looking C you've got there mate, do you get to many other shows?
  4. [/img] Couple of pics of my old nugget yellow snow plough from a few years ago, car is now beeftech's except he raised the suspension (the puff :-P :-P )
  5. Fucking hell, just realised who you are mate when i saw the reg on your vr6! Was camped next to you at VW Action at Uttoxeter this year, you know the 2 pissed northerners :-P Hows it going anyway dude?
  6. It met with a little accident yes! (and with me in it!) Did you have to put the pic up of when you first got it? :( Broke my heart to sell that car but could'nt give up enough time to give it the attention it deserved and restore the bug anymore. It's been looked after though and thats the main thing. Oh and by the way ste................... ...............wind it back down you woman, i have never driven another car since that handled like that thing on a 120mm drop Below is a pic of the reason i sold it The front of this is lowered by about a foot, anyone else notice a common theme in my cars? :D
  7. It's no where near as low as the yellow one, it was down another 40mm on that! Still got the grill if you want it James, give me a buzz over the holidays or something Finding myself strangely drawn to the steelies, maybe cos i had'nt seen a C with them on before Also thinking about painting them black.................
  8. Bugger, should mention the UNDER 2 grand bit was stuck to before i bought the wheels before someone points out i sound thick! Oh and i meant a rare pic of it clean
  9. Quick (rare) pic of my under 2 grand corrado. Having owned a Nugget Yellow 16v (belongs to beeftech on here now) and lavishing much time and cash on it when i found myself in a position to buy my curent rado i set myself a challenge to stick as closely as possible to a £2000 limit The few people on here that know me know im more into the aircooled side of things and my 58 bug remains my pride and joy, so the car i run every day does'nt have to be immaculately turned out! Rough spend list is; 91 2.0 16v (9a) Corrado £1450 Venom 80mm lowering kit £200 Full Decat powerflow system £200 (it was a 'saturday afternoon job' :D ) Momo 280mm steering wheel £50 G60 steelies with brand new tyres £100 (will get the original estorils diamond cut when the weather picks up) Not done bad eh? Car has covered 185000 miles and is still joy to drive, interior is factory perfect and the whole car generally looks like it's done half the miles! Regularly does the 400 mile round trip to the girlfriends without bother and more often than not at 35 to 40 mpg God i love this car 8)
  10. Was it the sight of a green rado on your drive the other week made you snap?? :D Will have to get a look round soon, do you still want this FK grill??
  11. Of what my rado or the ones at the pod cos i aint got either!
  12. Cheers, many people on here get to the aircooled shows? (bug jam and the like) been going for years and the amount o nice C's last time i was at santa pod was pretty good!
  13. Er.... the side of the road!! Been looking for either a late mk2 8v golf or a decent 16v corrado for under 2k but had'nt really turned up anything until saturday when i saw it with the for sale signs in about 3 miles from my house! Only criticism with it is it's a little flat but will give it a good service and go from there
  14. After selling my yellow 16v a year ago i aint been on here much (it depresses me looking at others when i don't have one!), had been concentrating on my air cooled project but now thats done it was time for another corrado! SO, bought me another today! :D 92 2.0 16v in dragon green totally standard (not for long) for 1500 quid, scary part is it's got 170000 miles on it yet drives fantastic  Pics will follow.
