I found on the parts page they use the same as the golf mk3 gti/vr6 which also appears to be TRW so on the look out for one of these as appear to be a lot cheaper.

Can anyone help with identifying which steering rack I need for my 95 VR. I have the smooth type one that I have taken off (TRW I believe) but Is this the wrong one that has been fitted in the past as am I right in thinking VRs should have a ZF one? Or were they fitted with both?.. I have found a replacement one off a 16v that the rack itself looks the same as the one I took off so was hoping this is the case Many thanks

Guys took pillys advice and popped mine down the local engineering shop to get fixed. cheers for replys

What's people's opions on the best way to DIY refurb the subframe,crossmember etc. I can't afford to blast/powder coat so is a wire attachment on a drill and a bit of hammorite best way or are there other options?. Also is Eastwood Chassis Black a better paint option?. Cheers

Can anyone tell me if the mk2 golf subframe fits a vr6 corrado? They look slightly different, but on vw heritage they have them all down as the same one, hopefully they fit as struggling to find one. Cheers

Has anyone delt with a guy from Wolverhampton who breaks Corrados? Goes by the username verymadmax on Facebook. I had paid for some parts and was due to ge getting some more and he's just completely vanished and im unable to reach by phone or email cheers
