hi, thanks for the continued warm welcome! T'was an epic road trip and a half with some high points (getting asked in a Welsh service station "is that a corrado"?) and some lows - just generally the tiredness after being on the road for so long. Good to see so many owners from down here! I've only seen one green storm around Southbourne but looking forward to a meet up. I'm potentially in for Sunday (will check with the Mrs) but game to say hello to a few others :)

Hi, recently purchased a VR6 auto. Very clean with stacks of history. Stock with the exception of a magnex exhaust. Brought it from NI which involved a flight to Belfast, cab to Antrim, train from Antim to Coleraine, drive from Coleraine to Dublin, ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and a drive from Holyhead to Bournemouth. Took 24 hours and she didn't miss a beat. Long way to go for a car but I've wanted a black on black, stock VR6 for a while so this ticked the boxes. Some car park dings to take out but other than that, she's class. Looking forward to being part of the site. :thumbleft:

I was looking at getting a vinyl sticker printed but should the gear selection illuminate? Mine doesn't currently but wondering whether it should and hence whether I need to get the vinyl sticker to be transparent.

Hi, don't mean to bomb your post but do you mean the entire unit or the piece plastic which displays the gear selection? If so, that's what I need too... I.e. not the entire surround but the piece which displays the gears (P/R/N/1/2/)... something has dropped on mine and knocked a small hope where 2nd gear is displayed. If anyone knows how to repair/replace would be interested to know!
