Was filling up with fuel (super unleaded of course|) at my local Tesco in Abingdon and a guy in a T4 van shouted `great car mate!` so we chatted and he showed me what he`d done to his van. Nice to see he knew what a Corrado was!

It`s like waiting for a bus, suddenly 3 come along at the same time! Was at my local B&Q in Abingdon last week and one of the guys working there was directing a lorry out. He said, "lovely car mate, you don`t see many of those about now" and he must have known his cars coz he followed it up with "especially the G60". Apparently one of his mates used to have one back in the day. A day later we were having a carpet fitted at home and the carpet fitters apprentice said what a great car it was. Turns out he knows his VDubs as his father has a MK1 golf fitted with a 20VT. Beginning of this week I was at my wife`s work place and a local estate agent complemented the Corrado, said it was stunning and always wished he`d had one. That was cool as being an estate agent he could probably afford any car he wanted!

MK1 bonnet for sale in Aqua Blue Pearl Metallic. The bonnet is in really nice condition with no rust, dents or stone chips. There are one or two small chips on the side edge and on the top corners but only down to the primer which can easily be touched up. You cannot see these when the bonnet is closed. There is also a very small scratch on the surface of the bonnet, again only down to the primer, which again can easily be touched up. I bought my MK11 G60 3 years ago and it came fitted with this MK1 bonnet which I replaced with a brand new MK11 bonnet, hence why this MK1 bonnet is surplus to requirements. I am based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and buyer is to collect or arrange transport. This is a really good condition bonnet with fantastic paint. Price £125.

Spotted a J reg. de-badged blackberry Corrado in Asda car park, Colne, Lancashire on Saturday at 10.30am

54 and bought my first G60 in 1994. Sadly it set on fire and was written off in 2013. Bought another G60 last year with 55K genuine miles and it will be back on the road in 2 weeks!
