Did it again last night so not the imobiliser - Ingnition switch next :oops:

Goit a G60 with doddgy VAG (scorpion) alarm/imobiliser. Does the same thing. It looks like the imobiliser just inhibits the starter 'cos the car will bump start no problem. I have bypassed the imobiliser part but still use the alarm to lock/unlock. As yet the problem has not surfaced again.
