To get my lights to sit perfect, can you just adjust the lights or is it the the hatch needing reseated so the lights sit straight? Its a poor picture but you can see the inside lights sit wrong. :cry:

No i have never been pulled for the plates, the police dont seem to mind. Might be different if i was flying around the town centre with those plates. Just the MOT i need to worry about

yeah think i do need to tint them again, i have red tinted lights in the garage. They look great but cant get the indicator to flash yellow :cry:

Hey guys, the project is nearing the end. But with the scottish winter coming fast its time to put her away for the dark months. not all that bad going to get the car painted over winter for another year of stone chips. :?

The car is modded on the sensible side, pulley, chip, filter, uprated charger, forged pistons and cam. trying to get a solid 200bhp. think i will spend the extra!

Just got my 92 rado g60 back on the road, it has become apparent that i have a shot engine mount at the front off the engine. i was just about to splash out on a manifold+exhuast for the car, but my mate thinks that by replacing the mount with a standard one that i would increase the chances off damaging the manifold. is this true? and what should i do?

bought the car of the boss at my work, it had sat for a couple of months so i offered him £900 and he accepted. 100k on the clock charger rebuilt by brm stage 2 ,pulley ,chip and air filter 2 owners him and his dad mint apart from alloys need refurb. :D already turned down £2000 for the car. only needed a bulb for the mot :D

it wasnt a vag filter :( i bought the car for £900 thought what the hell, keep it cheap. big mistake.

I took my g60 to national tyres to get the oil changed 2 weeks ago, after 100 miles the engine started making allsorts of noises. I took the car to my local garage to see what was wrong, the first thing they said was that the wrong oil had been put into the car. National put fully synthetic in, my hand book says it should be multigrade. I phoned vw they couldnt give me a staight answer. Any ideas? The car now needs a new bottom end :( hopefully national will be picking up the tab :D

I am thinking about selling my valver once i get the mot done I have a black H plate 16v with good service history and 58k on the clock with mot's to prove it.The car is 100% original! mint interior,like new! no sunroof,electric windows.needs some work on the body to be perfect, probably about £400 i would accept £2200 for the car. -
problem solved was under the car today it was the exhaust hitting the axle it is fixed now :D cheers

i am ashamed to admit it but my valver used to get taken by a mk4 gt td nearly every night, it was chipped :oops:

ok i will get that checked out asap about the exhaust. i am guessing the gasses escaping on the gear change is normal,i have owned the car a few weeks and never driven it hard until the weekend, then i heard the noise. :D got to show the clio sport boys who is boss!!

I have just bought my second rado, a g60 and it has two problems 1. with someone in the back off the car, when you put the foot down it sounds like a hammer hitting the underside off the car at the rear.i had a look but everything looks ok, any ideas! 2. when i change gear above 5000rpm i can hear a high pitch chirping noise is this normal! as you can guess i have no mechanical experience and need help!!!!! :oops:

Spotted a blackberry vr6 at halbeith,dunfermline on saturday night.also seen a silver rado several times in dunfermline.

i was in perth today, but i have a dark blue g60.just hoping it was me, never been spotted before!

spotted 2 rados parked outside at the motor show in edinburgh, red one with bmw alloys and black rado on g60 steel wheels. very nice cars, shame the black one has had a small ding. I wish i had taken my rado, i was up front as we left in the mk1 :-)
