When i turn the steering wheel to the left i have a deep humming noise and vibration which can be felt through the drivers side foot well, it only happens over 20-25mph and the tone doesnt change as i go faster. Ive also got the usual wheel bearing problem, gets more high pitched as i go faster fades out as i go slower....could it b linked to that?

Shows how much i know didnt realise that :oops: :lol: ill try again now goin to fit the new sheeting & B&Q stuff on the doors or at least one of them and the passatt handles this afternoon/evening so ill do that whilst im at it. Graham

I think everybody has there own favourite brand of speaker but i got the focal 6.5" components (165kf) from audioscape when i got my pods and they sound amazing so clear, im hearing some of my favourite cd's in a whole new way now

fair enough 8) i was just thinking bout ease of access if they need adjusting, but i guess once they're adjusted they shouldnt need to be touched again should they?

Just got my wiper arms and blades amongst other things from vw, look forward to being able to see where im going in the wet now, really cant believe how bad the corrado ones are!

where have most people put there crossovers? kevhaywire suggested in glovebox and behind drivers kick panel but there doesnt appear to be that much room behind the kick panel so at the moment ive got both of them behind the glovebox, until i find a more permanent solution. Graham.

Took out the pockets underneath the dash on the drivers side today to sort the wiring for the components ive bought, when i went to put it all back it doesnt seem to fit when i put the screws in one side im havin a real hard time lining any of the others up, u can see where its spose to go but it wont :? could it b that at some point the whole dash has been removed and the whole lots been put it wonky or is it just im doin something completely wrong ive tried 3 or 4 times takin them out and refitting again but just wont go :!: this may not make any sense to anybody else but any ideas/help would b appreciated.

Damn it, which id know that couple weekends ago, we were using a mates mouth as a bottle opener instead! im expecting the dentists bill through anyday now :lol: :roll:

saw 4 c's at donny south today, one that i recognised instantly from the angel eye headlights..what a mad install, impressive 8). There were another 2 together one was red k reg? and havin a pic airbrushed on the side of it and the other was a purple g60 with carbon fibre grille and a gorgeous set of rims, i think that was an h reg, Finally there was another G60 (red) which i think had seen better days parked up by the main entrance just as u come in on the right.

thanks for the info K very helpful, went out and bought various bits to do the doors 2day, james is sendin me a load of foam with the pods and components so should b well sound proofed by the time im finished :D 8) to b honoust ive never really been into big systems but from what u and other people have been sayin on here, think that will go out the window when i hear these focals for the first time. Just need to decide what amp and sub to get now :? a trip up too ipswich is in order i think to speak to him in person about further requirements small cars really shouldnt have big subs, a friend had a 15" fusion sub in his corsa and it almost rattled it to pieces when he cranked it up! have u put sound deadening everywhere in ur C? or just doors and boot?

After some advice on running speaker for front speakers, is it worth running new better quality cable all the way from the head unit to the speakers? or would i be better off just using existing wiring and using new cable inside doors? i was thinkin i might as well do things properly when i get my audioscape door pods with the focals in 'em but if its too much hassle may leave to a later date....what do u think? :? sorry if theres alot of questions but wanna get things right. :lol:

Thanks very much for that, ill go get the bits i need after work tomorrow and give it a go, hopefully it will work (fingers crossed) if not ill have to find somebody with vag-com and take it from there.

ive had my corrado about 3 weeks now and very please with it i am too, but just recently when im comin up to a set of lights or coming off the the motorway down a sliproad it stalls when i get near stopping, looking through other topics on here im pretty sure it could be the ISV that needs cleaning or replacing only problem is i dont know what or where this is...so any help would be greatly appreciated.
