is that the posh guy, cos he was a good bloke. Very friendly, and he didnt mind too much that i was kinda off my head at the time. i think he found it rather amusing(not alcohol related)

sh*t all this talk of corrados is making me miss my baby, im gna have to leave work a little early and go home and "wax that ass". Sorry if i seem to be confusing my car with my mrs, but they do have a lot in common. Beautiful, powerful, expensive and soon to be a classic. (what she doesnt know wont hurt her) im taking my corrado to the carribean for our honeymoon! heh heh and anyways, when i say wax that ass, ill be doing that to both b4 the sun goes down. I think its time i shut up now - its friday, been a long week.

Cheers guys for the replies, itd be nice to get to know all the rados in the area, theres 3 of us at the moment, and we are all very enthusiastic, but without the technical know how, so if anyone could offer any assistance we would be very happy. Im gna be going to the guldford meet/ chessington meet hopefully when it comes back round, i believe next wednesday and perhaps we could get a strong line of corrados to represent.

As i was walking out of my local petrol station last week, just off the a3, i felt it hard to miss the porsche 944 and 928 parked almost parallel to my rado. As i pulled my jaw back of the dirt, i noticed 2 familiar gentleman walk past....unfortunately i dont now their names, but it wasnt geremy, it was the little one and the tall posh dude. We said hello, and i mentioned the corrado, and immediately the littel bloke was like "where is it". He loved my car He couldnt stop looking at it, although he couldnt tell if it was a vr or not Anyways, what however was very unfortunate, was when i asked them a little mechanical advice they had absolutely no idea what i was talking about. Completely clueless we all got in our cars and i waited till they started moving and pulled up; in fvornt of them. All 3 of us in a line, waiting to rejoin the a3 to central london, and just as i felt the grunt of impatience from the prosche behind me ( little chap was following the posh chap) all they saw was my dust on the i r windscreens. I breifly saw a vain attempt to overtake the vehicles behind me (30m or so) but they had no chance. I dont think any of them know how to drive other than clarkson. Funny old world isnt it. b4 i left i asked thme to do a mention to the corrado, hopeful that the enigma of vw will get the mention it deserves!!!!!!!!!!!

3 weeks ago at Halfords shannon corner, new malden. As i was coming put of the shop, a blue corrado vr6 had parked next to mine.

what lump you looking at putting in? I got 135 k on a 16v, and i am aware of the potential power output of the engine, and may consder putting a fresh 16v in. Itll cost me around 550 incl fitment which is good for me. The car is in good condition, ive had to spend 500 on it, chagning tires, clutch and tracking etc. Bodywork, im looking at rear diffuser with relocated plate, and backpanel to flush it. And debadged grill and single wiper on the front. What wheels are u riding on>? Also, the k and N u put in, where did u get the install. Ive bn advised to go to jabba for custom fitment.

You know the funny thing is when u get to worc park, and then turn to cheam, its infested with golfs!!!!!!!! And suprisingly its the only place in my area that the rado gts appreciation!¬¬¬!!! But yes, certaily one place that could do with the old demolition men to visit.

no im from kingston mate. reason i even mentioned the guildofrd meet is cos I was driving down towards worcester park and a gti was sat at the lights, turned green and i blitzed past him......... trouble was both lanes converged into one, and he stepped on it too, a little too close for my liking anyways, he followed me and pulled up next to me, and asked me to pull over. And he was loving my car!!!!!!!!!!!! He told me about the meet, he drives a blue n reg corrado, name is kamran. He told me its the place to go around these sides........... i wna check it out, but i looked on the no rice site, and they changing locations!!!!!!! Itd be nice to meet some other enthusiasts so i can see where my ride is going wrong, and how to mod the car in the right way.

Yeh thats the one, lucky i didnt go then!!!!!!!! Chessington would be a good new location, the car park is absolutely MASSIVe and fully flood lit, if anyone finds out any info on it please lemme know. the worst feeling, and to make matters worse, im waiting for 2 letters, another for a hidden speed camera. In my years of drving, not once have i been caught out, not even a parking fine, and in the space of 3 hours, got done twice, one on red light, and one for speeding., I think im gna start crying......... :roll:
