how do i set up the timing on my g6o and should i retard my timing or??? also my temp gauge aint workin i have replced the sensor any ideas?? just about to do the timing so help.... i remeber seing a post on here with pics and all really good post for timing but i did a search on here and couldnt find it so had to ask soz. :D

when i switch the car off i noticed the fuel pump was still running i stood there for around 5 mins and it was still doing this!! i have never noticed it before so im guessin this is definetly not normal as i cant see why it would be!! any ideas why it would be doing this? also under hard acceleration the car begins to backfire and wont accelerate anymore also sometimes shooting flames, could this be linked or is it just my boost that is blowing the plugs out as under half acceleration it is fine i am running standard plugs.

what are the leon cupra r intercoolers like for use on a g60??

to be quiet honest i think turboing a g60 is sacralage couldnt u pick another type of raddo to do it too like a 16valver or summat!? but then hay the more people that ruin g60s the more mine is worth ! :lol: :D

anymore ideas are u sure its not a relay?? im convinced it is where are all the relays for the lights? does anyone have a wiring diagram?? cheers chris :D

it locks onto full beam and the blue light comes on but when clicked to go onto low beam i have no light but my sidelights are on but obviously my sidelights dont light the road up at all!! help will check the new loom i got it off ebay.

help guys... at the moment at night im havin to drive my car every where on main beam as my car will not ingage into dip beam when i disingage the mainbeam it just goes straight to sidelights not dip beam!!! does anyone know what this is? im guessing its a knackered relay if anyone has a electrical diagram of the car or lighting system that would be brilliant. oh also i have that uprated wiring loom for the lights on it. cheers guys :D

the rsr outlet is a straight outlet for the boost to come through rather than a box that holds the boost back slightly hence giving u a bit more power sooner,also the black box is very prone to breaking and causing boost leaks espically when u have tuned a g6o,they are a basic reliabilty upgrade and are practically essential when tuning the g60 as the plastic box will just leak as it wont be able to cope with the uprated boost levels. hope this helps guys :D

i have raced a civic type R in my baby and even though she aint running particularly right she still beat it quite nicely the type R's have very little torque up a hill a bloddy 1.1 fiesta could pull with it but as soon as they can keep it in the higher revs they become slightly more deadly my friend used to own one when he first got it i thought it was really quite crap but after a few months he learnt how to drive it properly ie keepin high revs and the difference was phenomanle.but u will definetly be able to beat his civic mate i reckon 65mm pulley red tops,chip and a stage 4 charger should do it :D

disconnected the lamda today and she seems to be alot better i have seen her doing 28.6mpg now!!!! :D and she is pulling very very well now,i take it i need to buy a new lambdor sensor now or do i just keep it disconnected? cheers guys

my baby is overfuelling! help! she was fine before i had her tuned now she doesnt pull aswell as it should dies at top end at about 5,000rpm as if its not gettin enough fuel or the plugs are blowin out i can smell fuel all the time this is what i had done: rs charger rebuild (darren g-werks) head ported and polished new hydraulics and valve steams. red tops(g-werk's) sns chip(g-werks) 64mm pulley oil breather system boost re route de cat she is doing about 150 miles to £40 pounds!!!!!! im thinkin of taking her upto tsr what are they like. i have checked the compressions and they are at 140psi roughly 9 bar i believe this is correct. i have replaced the blue sensor too.

yeah she is overfuelling like hell at the mo,slowly sortin her out. wha6t doesnt make it easier is the fact i crashed her on sat cos of ice not happy. :cry:

i get around 12-14 mpg on a quick run! :cry: and about 18 mpg on a long run but she is running a little wrong at the mo :cry: :cry: and i get about 40 miles to a tenner! :cry:

I agree and I've got a 20v in a corrado.. me too :? i definetly agree to that,if thats what ya wanna do sell ur g60 then buy a 16valver to convert wouldnt be so much of a sacrafice of rarity.

the thickness of the oil is correct,the loss of compression is in all chambers when cold. fitted new hydraulics to her today and she had been left standing in theses icy conditions for two days turned her over and she started fine no missfiring symptoms or overfuelling so looks like she is fixed have to wait to do a cold compression test will do that in the next few hours hopefully they should be correct if not more head scratchin! cheers for all ur help guys :D
