on a g60 the compressions should be around 10-12 bar in each chamber. :D

yeah already replaced the blue sensor and it made no difference,yeah all the bits ahve been put on at the same time.i checked compressions and when its cold its only about 5(14.4 psi per bar) bar cold but when warm is the correct compression 160psi! did a wet check also and it is exactly the same so is still pointing to the head.seems strange that the compression is fine when hot .

when i leave my raddo to get stone cold she becomes a bit hard to start and sounds like she is running on three,and is overfuelling but as soon as she gets warm she runs like a dream..... i have just had some head work done on her so was thinkin it may possibly be the valves not closing properly any suggestions? cheers

i have checked and the rings are all good i had the head rebuilt and polished so i think the people who did the work on the head havent seated the valves properly so its just waiting to be picked up by them now so hopefully will have her back soon!! will let u guys know whats goin on 8)

i think i have the same problem since gettin it back from the tuning garage it really doesnt like to idle when i start it from cold it is hard to start when it does it runs REALLY lumpy and i have to keep my foot on the accelerator to keep it running for about a minute and then it will idle it smells of loads of fuel when im driving her. help!!! it only does this when it is cold! oh and i have already changed the blue sensor for a new one and its doing the same thing still............ oh and my temp gauge has stopped workin what sensor is this?will this add to the problem? cheers guys :D

its a term for a 16 valve engine (valver)

yeah ive just changed mine.when we were takin the engine apart i noticed how bad the belt tensioner looked and it werent too good. didnt know nothin about the crank bolt will get that changed before i put the car back together.cheers guys :D

im sorry to hear that mate.thats not good what u planning on doing fixin it up or goin for the 1.8t conversion?

asked my mate about the car and basically he had a general service done on it and when they did the oil filter they did not screw it up practically at all so when he took it down the road all the oil had drained out and it messed the engine up the garge that did it was supposed to be a performance specialist garage!!! in the end the garage paid out for a brand new engine charger and so on now that must of stung there bank balance!!! and yeah it was the black one that parks up in newquay such nice cars. :D :D

oh right sorry mate. i know there is mk2 rallye in newquay and he had some work done on it and the garage forgot to do somethin real simple i think they didnt tighten the sump plug and it seized the engine as my mate works at the vw place in truro and i saw it there.

whats the traction like on ur car at the mo?ive been debatin on cammin my raddo but dont know if i should or not do u know if it is worth doin or...?

when i put my eip solid front mount into my raddo i found that the traction was improved a bit might be woth givin a go mate! :D

thanks.it used to be just a stage 4 charger and a jabba chip,but i took it off the road recently to have the work done just waitin to get her back!! :( should only be half a month now cant wait!! as soon as she is all run in and i know she is all okay i will be taking her upto the rolling road to get some figures out of her when i know i will post it up. yeah i think ive seen ur car mate looks real mint i was gutted to here about ya mates rallye when that garaged messed up the engine and stuff they paid out for a new lump thou didnt they?
