    Not all vw dealers are the same. I am a technician at a vw dealer and I am a big enthusiast. But 17miles is a bit much I know the lads at our place would never do that

    This is my old car on 18’s. Lowered 40mm just on springs, without any arch mods. only problem I had very small arch rubbing (with more than two in the car)

    a plastic tool to remove the ht leads on most vr6’s is on the botton of bonnet stay.

    Where did you get a quote from? There are a few good bodyshops in Anglesey that might be able to repair the arch try c.a.r.s in gaerwen(in think), afg in gaerwen and barton and nichols in llangefni
