  19. heres the instructions in with the loom 1. 1st disconnect the dipped beam feature plug, this is situated in front of the battery and is usually a white or yellow plug with 2 wires coming out of the terminal that are about 10 cm long and attached to the chasis. one wire is yellow/black and the other is plain yellow. just disconnect the plug and secure it, as this function is overruled by the new loom. 2. the next thing to do is to connect the neg earth wire with ring terminal on the new loom marked n-, this can be connected direct to the neg post on the battery or to the earth point behind the battery, which is bolted with a 10mm nut. 3. then take the 20 amp fuse out of the holder on the new loom and connect the ring terminal marked p+ directly on to the battery, as this is going to be the new main feed for the headlamps. 4. on the drivers side you will need to locate the yellow wire that carries the 12v feed to the headlight, this runs along side the engine with other wires to the back of the headlight plug and is covered in a material covering. you need to cut this wire and attach wire marked o/s from the new loom onto the yellow wire coming from the headlight plug. make sure the bare wire is pushed right inside the butt connector, and squeeze firmly together with pliers. the other yellow wire thats left will need to be taped up securely and discarded, as this is no longer needed. 5. now you need to cut the yellow and black wire on the nearside loom which carries the 12v to the headlight, as b4 you need to connect the yellow butt connector marked n/s to the yellow and black wire coming from the headlight plug and connect the remaining yellow/black wire coming from the cars loom to the butt connector marked L on the loom. again ensure there is a good connection b4 you close the butt connections. 6. finally tidy up the wires with the cable ties provided and reinsert the 20amp fuse. now test your lights.

  21. just fitted this and followed instructions exactly, however my headlight switch now does not work properly, in the middle position when youd expect sidelights i now get dipped beam and in the left position where you normally get dipped beam i now get side lights on! when the switch is in the middle position full beam will not stay on so i need to sort this out, anyone any ideas?
